Willesden County Court. Narrowish road, right by a busy junction, changeovers on both sides of the road, three different routes changing over at that point. Traffic congestion. The four routes that don't changeover there have difficulty pulling out from behind parked buses or even getting to the stop. However, the one thing that scares me is the incoming driver pulling off immediately and signing onto his ticket machine while he is moving.

Kennington Church for the 3, 159 & 415 - too many buses here can cause traffic to build up.

New changeover points for the 161 - Woolwich Arsenal station.
Both stops are arranged to take 3 or 4 through buses. A delayed 161 causes blocking back.

Hoe St, E17 for both the 275 and 357. Can easily block both stops and cause traffic jams. I am also fed up with being on buses that have crew changes at this location. All because TfL won't allow changeovers in the bus station and I assume it is not efficient in cost terms for the 275 to have changeovers at St James St or the 357 to changeover at Chingford Mount.

Kennington Church for the 3, 159 & 415 - too many buses here can cause traffic to build up. It used to be a real pain when Q worked some of the 159, then when they worked the 3. Having three routes (two of them important ones, with all due respect to the 415) changing drivers here compounds the problem.

Gants Hill station changeovers for some 179 changeovers as it is very annoying considering its Ilford terminus is only just down the road and Gants Hill is nowhere to Leyton as well.
To further prove on that point, if a 179 that does take its time to change drivers and if there are more than one buses at the stop then it does block that stop. Also, sometimes I kind of forced to use the 123 when traveling between Woodford Avenue and Ilford which does get bit busy at times compared to the 179 and the majority of VLA's that was on the 123 are awful buses to ride hence why I mainly prefer the 179 over the 123 at times as the 179 uses much nicer buses compared to the VLA's on the 123 and not as busy as the 123. However, since the VLW's entered service earlier this year and I don't mind using ether the 123 or 179 along that section of the route.
I can recall earlier this year when I took the 179 as I wanted to avoid riding VLA6 on the 123 and that journey took 25 minutes for a journey that normally takes 15 minutes even there wasn't traffic at all given by the time I got that 179, the next 123 arrived the same time which left the first stop in Ilford about 10 minutes after that 179 I took on that day.
One thing I look forward of BK running the 179 is that there it probably will no longer have those irritating changeovers in Gants Hill.
Also do apologies if I've turned this post into a bit of a rant as it was something I wanted to talk on about it for bit a while now.

A key point needs making here. Whilst multiple locations may be less than desirable, all operators need to have bus driver changes at the most convenient point closest to garage.
The further away they move the more expensive bids will become and TfL would have less money to spend and more cuts to make.

Are you forgetting Bakers Arms for the 257 and then round the corner the 56

Kennington Church for the 3, 159 & 415 - too many buses here can cause traffic to build up. I was told the 415 actually do their changes at Old Kent Road Tescos as TfL at the time didn't want more than two routes changing at neither Kennington Church nor Elephant and Castle.

I think 415 drivers have always changed over at Elephant & Castle. At least from what I've observed. Good point about changeovers beening more suitable at Old Kent Road. It was painfully annoying having 172 drivers change at E&C when I needed to quickly get a train at Waterloo. With that said, now it's just painfully slow when drivers arrive at NX too early and we have to wait even longer for the next scheduled driver to get to the stop when I'm trying to go home

I think 415 drivers have always changed over at Elephant & Castle. At least from what I've observed. If it's always been so then I'm surprised after multiple complaints about the 172 and 188, only to then have a third one changing there (even if the 415's volume of changes are likely not as frequent).
