Nice to see the 6 and 36 plying their trade at Queen’s Park. Hackney Wick and Hither Green. Crazy times eh?
Wow, that second clip really brings back a lot of memories of Oxford Street. One memory was T1000 with the dot matrix display turning up on the N207 (or could have been an old N89) as a New Years Eve extra. I can tell that the person taking this video really didn’t like the Optare deckers that started to run on the 3. Any time one showed up the camera pans away or the clip is cut 🙁 Those Optare were one of my favourite deckers in the post-M era due to how unusual they were in London. I loved seeing the crazy variety of routemasters that used to run on the 15. Great videos.

I loved seeing the crazy variety of routemasters that used to run on the 15. Great videos. I loved those Spectras too, but the one-piece windows at the front didn't last too long, except on one bus (I think it was no. 15 in the series) which somehow kept it intact for weeks after all the others had succumbed. How they got broken I don't know, but I almost found out the hard way when the buses were new. I got off one at the stop in Lower Regent Street, having travelled from West Dulwich in the front offside seat. I then had a coffee in an Italian café and came out, to see a Spectra stood at the traffic lights at Piccadilly Circus with traffic weaving around it. On closer inspection, it was the bus I'd got off fifteen minutes before, now with a hugely cracked window just where I'd been sitting! No evidence of any other vehicle involved, and definitely no arborial contact, so a mystery!

90's find this time about the Routemaster Excellent find! I had this on VHS in the early 90s I remember the 40 year celebrations around the Royal Docks (towards end of video) long before it was developed and Excel built!

Another new upload from the Soi channel. This is an absolute gem... Agreed that it's very good. Amazing variety across the routes with three of the route 170 evaluation buses. The most notable thing for me is how incredibly busy route 15 is compared to today. Nearly every bus at least 2/3s full. Amazing how things change.

Another new upload from the Soi channel. This is an absolute gem... Great video, I even spotted a driver on the 68 I used to know, that was when it was a busy cross town trunk route rather than the watered down supplementary service that it is today.

Just rewatched it and he lucked out by ctaching not one, but two NX RMLs on the 171 - quite rare for that route. Moz
