Certainly the old 03 Omnideckas had the 434 on them as well as the 409! They had practically every route on them as I got one to show 138 to Tatsfield That's how it should be these days, well at least for the garage the bus is based at.

Well it'd be a waste of money for most garages, like you wouldn't bother blinding the 147s Es for the 346. It makes sense to put a route from another local garage in case of a loan which the bus actually has more of a chance of working.

One of the things that has happened since tendering started is the operation of a route by just 1 garage so loaning vehicles means taking out blind sets placing replacement set whilst on loan then in reverse when bus is returned to home garage London Central/General had the good sense to mix allocations between garages 12 36 345 are some examples which meant vehicles could be loaned easily because the routes were already available this is still true for the 36 between PM & NX for the 36 it also helped in London Buses era with routes like 109 157 for example with multiple garages working the same route I can remember a time when a BN DMS on the N78 broke down outside TH garage and a TH bus was bought out as a sub I think that each garage should have at least 1 other garages route blinds fitted ie BN could have 250 (they already have 137 for N) TH could have 50 for BN 264 for TC and TC could have 198 for TH obviously this is from a local perspective and others could think of similar routes/garages in there locality

Most of TB's 12-plate E200s still have their original set with route 246 on them.

When Plumstead had single deckers they shared the same blinds as Catford.

Stockwell's VC class Volvos 'technically' had a lot of London's routes on its displays, those buses then having three track blinds. There was one time when I was given a VC for the 49 and whilst I was changing the blindsets from 133 I naughty[1] arranged the front numbers to 280 with the destination set to Tooting Broadway. I then took a photo of it and sent it to a former[2] colleague of mine telling him its now a Merton bus. He believed it at first until he realised the destination blinds had 133 via points, quickly deducting that I was messing about....plus it didn't help that the bus was still inside Stockwell garage when I took a photo of it.
[1] - I regret nothing
[2] - by then had moved on to Connex

I believe one of them has new blinds, and the rest have these. Some of them from the back seem to have 293 just below 358. Don’t quote me on it though

VWH2355 and probably some others have Crossrail Replacement on their blindset! Potentially a waste of money as it may not open lol Credit to londonbuses1503 for the observation on Facebook (Not posting link as not everyone is a member of The Londoner)

Someone's wasted money on those blinds. Should be "Elizabeth Line" in line with TfL naming policy for the service as opposed to the project. If they ever see use in service - and not because Crossrail is late - it'll be a distinct rarity.
