There is a longish thread of photos from the Plaxton plant of ADL showing MMC single and double deckers in build including for Stagecoach London and GAL. You will need to click into Twitter and follow the thread of tweets and their photos. The shots of the Stagecoach deckers seems to be of the new style blind displays (I may be wrong - I'm sure someone can say for certain).

Those displays do appear to be box like units, I guess it is easy to install them prior to glazing.
If they are the new ones (and I cannot tell), seems a shame that the number unit is separate so still stuck with fixed width regardless of if it is a single digit route number, or a Nxxx number, would have thought it could be one big unit

There is a picture of a "Plaxton Panorama" double deck coach. I follow all things ADL/Plaxton closely and didn't know they were developing a double deck coach. In fact its not mentioned anywhere on their website. But clearly its being built - proof enough. Seems like it hasn't yet been formerly announced unless I missed it.

I've just seen an announcement about it in this week's edition of Route One.

The height stays the same apart from the smaller N on night routes.

It is unlikely that this is one of the buses with the Hannover displays. The 6 buses aren't due for delivery until July/August. In any case, if it was and the display was switched on you wouldn't be able to tell the difference.
