Where in Brent Cross will this new Station be? Just to the south of Staples Corner. Brent Cross is going to expand vastly to the south and over the A406.

Eeh what did your last slave die of? Exhaustion? www.brentcrosslondon.co.uk/Look at the "New Brent Cross" and "Wider Masterplan" parts of the website to see how far the regeneration stretches to the south. I was slightly wrong about the shopping centre - it does get a lot bigger but doesn't straddle the A406. There is a "living bridge" link though to the regenerated area to the south. The bus station moves a fair way south to border the very edge of the A406. The shopping centre will extend over the existing bus station site and there will be a new M&S.

Perhaps they'll manage to provide a bus station that all the buses can fit in next time: actually, with the rate of cuts it may turn out to be too spacious.

What will happened to the existing bus Station whilst Brent Cross is being refurbished / extended? Will the bus routes still go to Brent Cross?

The original plan showed a much smaller bus station ... Exactly! I couldn't believe that such a ridiculous error had been made by the developers but then they will want to minimise their spend and the loss of land to "non retail" functions. Here's hoping the approved plans include something that is rather more suitable and has some room for expansion.

However, if part of the Brent Cross plans are such that current terminating routes, such as 189, are then restructured, a smaller bus station could suffice.

Even if that doesn't happen, a few routes could be extended from the Shopping Centre to serve and link to the Thameslink station and new developments south of the north circular, such as the 326.

The online plans had no suggestion of any form of bus station. That said it would be very nice to see. Personally there could be very little need to have anything terminate at the shopping centre at this rate.
