205 essentially follows the H&C from Paddington to Kings Cross and then again from Liverpool Street to Bow Road D8- DLR from crossharbour to Stratford (only misses pudding mill lane and west India quay). Used to be a bigger overlap earlier 25 - tfl rail from Stratford to Ilford 86 - tfl rail from Stratford to Romford The 242 follows central from St. Paul’s till Liverpool Street; then the overground from Shoreditch high street to dalston, and then a bunch of other overground stations. 21 - follows northern from London Bridge to old street The 2 does serve the Pimlico Station stops on Vauxhall Bridge Road so technically it does serve Pimlico Station.

One route that really does just trundle along following the underground, and hence is fairly needless and therefore runs every 70 minutes Monday to Saturday, no evening service is the 549. Running from South Woodford, Woodford, Buckhurst Hill, and Loughton following the Central Line all the way. Can't imagine that ever gets a full load. One route for the chop methinks.

Does the 172 serving New Cross Gate-Brockley Rise count? Honor Oak Park isn't too far from the last stop.
There's also the 225 from New Cross-Canada Water

66: Leytonstone to Newbury Park. 29: Wood Green to Finsbury Park. 259: Manor House to King's Cross, missing Arsenal and Holloway Road. 263: Archway to High Barnet, barring Finchley Central and West Finchley (Woodside Park is walking distance from the High Road). 279: Seven Sisters to Theobalds Grove (indeed the route is cited as a replacement service for when LO is closed) C11: Gospel Oak to West Hampstead on LO. 398: South Harrow and Rayners Lane to Ruislip.

Route 549 does have a decent patronage between 7-10am between the following places: Broadmead Road towards Woodford Station Broadmead Road towards South Woodford Station Palmerston Road to Buckhurst Hill REASON: Commuters heading to the station Also school children as well as workers take it from areas such as Broadmead Road, Woodford, Hillside Avenue, Buckhurst Hill towards Loughton and vice versa. REASON: Free for school children and Cheaper than the train fare.. Woodford is Zone 4, Buckhurst Hill is Zone 5 and Loughton is Zone 6. I can attest to waiting for the 549 when I worked in the Chingford area. I interchanged for the 397 towards South Chingford. During the day 11am-3pm The older citizens use it. Hillside Avenue is a long stretch, which may not be easy to walk for them. Between 2-5pm It is used by school children and some parents on the school run.

Good point - had forgotten it also goes past Borough...

I think we need to establish a limit as most buses will probably end up following a tube line for 2 stations
135: Does shadwell, limehouse, westferry, canary wharf, heron quays (and crossharbour) on the DLR D3: Does East India, Blackwall, Canary Wharf, Westferry, Limehouse, Shadwell on the DLR, Wapping, Shadwell and Whitechapel for the Overground 123: Turnpike Lane and Wood Green on the Piccadilly 25 also does District between Bow Road and Aldgate East 277 does DLR (Westferry, Canary Wharf, Heron Quays) D7: DLR (Westferry, Canary Wharf, Heron Quays, Blackwall, All Saints)

Update: Routes that go very near, via, or terminate at stations count (For example 2 & Pimlico)
