62 - Barking to Becontree (District) 86/N86 - Stratford to Romford (TfL Rail) 370 - Romford to Upminster (Overground) None of those examples are actually tube lines - strictly speaking the District Line is sub-surface rather than tube.

COBO said Holborn not Aldwych, why did you even change his statement? To be fair he did say Aldwych before he edited to Holborn. Of course it was a mistake.

It's been ages since I've driven the route but I believe it used to go past Moorgate as well? It may have been a long time diversion as we are talking back in the 90s

It may have been a long time diversion as we are talking back in the 90s Yes it used to run via Moorgate, using Finsbury Circus on departure from Liverpool Street Bus Station. If you go further back in time Finsbury Circus was the actual terminus. It was rerouted via Old Broad Street in 2011, initially temporarily (for Crossrail works I think) but the change was subsequently made permanent.

The 205 shares a lot in common with the Hammersmith and city line.

The 205 shares a lot in common with the Hammersmith and city line. Indeed it does, my local too. Paddington to Kings Cross and Liverpool Street to Bow Road. It use to serve Moorgate Station aswell but was rerouted via Shoreditch a few years ago.
