Man United has just made a comeback and won the game with the final score as 3-2 to Man United , so I'd suppose that Jose Mourinho will now keep his job for a bit longer The result could see both managers sacked?

I think it's a protest against Jose and his days are numbered...

Honestly, he is an overrated manager - yes, he gets you instant success in either season 1 or 2 but then the third season is all about dragging that team through the mud & destroying it for no good reason. Even as a person, he is horrible - his behaviour contributed to the retirement of ref Anders Frisk, he poked the late Barcelona manager Tito Vilanueva in the eye and bullied Arsene Wenger over a number of years calling him a voyeur & specialist in favour.

I wonder why he is as reliable as a 192 bus on a Sunday, though? It seems after 3 seasons he's done. If he had lost the Newcastle game he definitely would be walking now. Pogba & his coterie of players control the team the way the DUP control Theresa May... I can't see things improving unless he makes his peace with team members he's peed off

Had Newcastle United been awarded a penalty when they were 0-2 up as they clearly should have been (and bring on VAR!) we may well have had a completely different outcome.
I wouldn't be surprised if José is gone Monday morning.

I can't see things improving unless he makes his peace with team members he's peed off I don't like to see players behave like that but I can understand them doing it when he is their manager and he regularly goes OTT when criticising them such as dismissing Pogba's World Cup win - instead, he should of used that to his advantage. I mean the stuff he said to Luke Shaw last season was disgraceful personally.

Odd that the past two weeks has seen some of the most shocking decisions and then suddenly it is in. Teams voted against it to be introduced, I hope Southampton were not one of them otherwise that Austin rant would be a bit awkward. VAR is really great and in my mind could work much better. The only thing that needs to be done is give more power to the Video referee. Now remember, they are qualified as much as the referee on the pitch. In my opinion, if the video referee sees something, he alerts the referee and the referee should give whatever the decision the VAR thinks. They can have a quick discussion but.. what we cannot have is referees taking time to jog over and look at something a qualified referee has seen. This saves time. Look at every other sport that uses technology (which btw is every other sport). Can you imagine in cricket, the umpire's decision is reviewed by the 3rd umpire (video umpire) and then the main umpire jogs off for 2 minutes? The onfield umpire accepts the decision. The only controversial thing in the World cup were handballs, in the final, Portugal -Iran, Australia - Denmark. This in my opinion is the lack of clarity in the handball rule, which I think is the next big thing FIFA need to correct. The handballs given the World cup were for one not handball and second not clear enough to overturn original decisions of no handball. Finally, for those who moan and give some nonsense arguments against VAR like 'ruins the moment of celebration', well in reality people get to celebrate twice or had the right not to celebrate. Overall, VAR great, could improve.

Absolutely agree & the arguments against VAR struggle to stack up because we’ve seen it first hand at the World Cup at how it didn’t ruin celebrating a goal nor the argument of supposedly, ‘killing the momentum’. I do think though they should show everything on the big screen to the fans at the match so that fans can understand what’s going on and why that decision was reached as currently, they’re left in the dark about it.

Overall, VAR great, could improve. I wonder if Charlie Austin's rant had any bearing on it? Whilst I agree with what he said Watford were denied a clear penalty in the same game although two wrongs don't make a right. I agree that there is no need for the match referee to go over and look at the monitor, just pass the decision over to the VAR. Most decisions can be made in seconds and the occasional one that does take longer the VAR can make it without anybody whinging in their ear. I don't accept any of these arguments against VAR, "there'll be nothing to talk about in the pub afterwards" etc........try going to a different pub😅. I think many of the doubters changed their minds after seeing how well it worked in the World Cup, all the more ridiculous that we didn't have it in the Premier League this season. It'll be nice to see the Premier League back next weekend, I can't get too excited about this Nations League despite England winning today.

Good, serves him right. Normally, I feel for a manager but certainly not him.

Who do we think will win the title? Based on todays performance I can't see City dropping many points on the run in but I can't say the same about Liverpool and I don't think Tottenham are serious contenders.

'Spurs' and 'serious contenders' shouldn't be in the same sentence especially when they're manager has actually said he isn't interested in winning trophies - and there was me thinking my club was a joke
