It seems that from 30th August, Carousel will extend their route 1/1A from Chesham, excluding the Pond Park Estate to Hemel Hempstead via the current 105 route, which will be shortened to run Uxbridge <> Chesham only. The 104 will also be revised to operate Uxbridge <> High Wycombe, being rerouted away from Stoke Poges & Slough. But it will take on some of the 577's routing, presumingly through Hazelmere and Penn. The 104 into Uxbridge is a bit of a surprise to me, wouldn't of thought there was a need for a 3rd routing between Uxbridge & High Wycombe, unless there are further plans to alter the 101/102 which haven't been announced as of yet. www.oxford-chiltern-bus-page.co.uk/Weekly%20nr%20114%20240720.html

The 101/102 appear to not change, with the exception that the 102 will not be running to Heathrow for the foreseeable future. The 1/1A will continue to run half-hourly to Chesham and then hourly to Hemel Hempstead (alongside the half-hourly Arriva service which extends to Pond Park), possibly gearing up for a half-hourly through service one day?

That makes more sense! It looks as though the 580 will also be withdrawn at the same time. Quite an upgrade for Seer Green residents, going from 2-3 buses a day to 1 an hour! Should of gone full circle and renumbered it the 305! Will defo be out next month to try this one out!

The former X90/Carousel 102 Plaxton Elite i coaches are at HD trim getting repainted for their move to Go North East for use on routes X9/X10 and also the Sprinters that was used for Go Sutton are going to be used for a DRT in North Lincolnshire.

As the Reading thread mentioned River Rapids I shared this there, although it would have been more relevant here:
I got stung today by the timetable change on River Rapids service. I saw my expected 9.12am departure for route X40 at Reading as I came out of the station, thought I had a few minutes to see the area outside the station that had been rebuilt, then noticed it had left about 4 minutes early. The next one left at 10.08 but it reached Oxford faster than expected. I then got caught out in Oxford as route 4 had been replaced to Wood Farm by new route 15, now just running from Abingdon to (I think) Westgate Centre.
OmniCity 914 on route X40 wasn't particularly nice, but Volvo B5LH 361 was fine and Enviro 400 - MMC 607 was excellent.

Oxford Bus and Thames Travel are making some timetable changes from Sunday 11th April, most notably restoring full Saturday frequencies to routes where a reduced level of service had been operating (this also affects Stagecoach journeys where there is joint operation of "City" routes). Also Park & Ride 300 to and from Redbridge and Pear Tree Park & Ride sites will be reinstated. www.oxfordbus.co.uk/news/service-changes-april-2021/www.thames-travel.co.uk/routes/x38x39x40

Following the changed advice on social distancing capacity on buses, the black ADL Enviro200 MMC used on Buckinghamshire County Council contract routes 581 and 583 based on Uxbridge has returned to Oxford Bus Company for its intended role on Bicester Village shuttles. The services are now operated by a Mercedes Sprinter minibus, the only scheduled operation of the type in Greater London.

Would Carlone's 442 between Staines and Heathrow Terminal 5 not just about count, although I guess it might be a bit of a cheeky one as I think it's only the stop at T5 that falls within the boundary?

Actually yes I reckon you could count that one, as T5 is definitely inside Greater London (as is the whole of the airport now - for many years part of it was in Surrey).

The Oxfordshire Network Review, a collaboration between Oxfordshire County Council, Go-Ahead (Oxford Bus Company & Thames Travel) and Stagecoach West, will be implemented on 2nd January 2022 and will see changes to a number of routes in and around Oxford, Abingdon and Didcot. The changes rationalise operations between Go-Ahead and Stagecoach on certain corridors and reduce duplication.
Route 2/2A/2B/N2 (Oxford-Kidlington) will be operated solely by Stagecoach, with a revised timetable. Oxford Bus Company will no longer operate over the Banbury Road corridor.
Route 3/3A (Oxford-Rosehill/Greater Leys) will be operated solely by Oxford Bus Company with a revised timetable. Route 3A will also be amended to serve more of the Greater Leys area, replacing part of Stagecoach route 12 which will no longer operate. These routes will be coordinated with routes X39/X40 along the Iffley Road, operation of which will be transferred from Thames Travel to Oxford Bus. Stagecoach will no longer operate over the Iffley Road corridor.
Route 5A (Oxford-Cowley-Minchery Farm) is a new route operated by Oxford Bus Company. It replaces parts of Stagecoach routes 12 (Greater Leys) and 16 (Minchery Farm) which will no longer operate.
Route 6 (Oxford-Wolvercote, Oxford Bus Company) will have an increased frequency and rerouted in Wolvercote to serve new housing at Wolvercote Mill.
Route 7 (Oxford-Woodstock, Stagecoach) will be rerouted via Oxford Parkway Park & Ride to replace Oxford Bus Company route 500 which will no longer operate.
Route 11 (Oxford-Watlington) will be operated by Oxford Bus Company instead of Thames Travel, with a revised timetable.
Route 12 (Oxford-Greater Leys, Stagecoach) will no longer operate (see routes 3A and 5A)
Route 16 (Oxford-Minchery Farm, Stagecoach) will no longer operate (see route 5A)
Route 34 (Oxford-Wantage, Stagecoach) will no longer operate. Thames Travel will operate a limited peak-hour replacement service between Abingdon and Harwell Campus.
Route 38 (Wantage-Grove, Thames Travel) will no longer operate (see route X36)
Routes 91/92/93 (Didcot Town Services) Whites Coaches will no longer operate these routes. They will be replaced by routes 91/92 operated by Thames travel, with revised routes and timetables.
Route 97 (Didcot Parkway-Great Western Park South) new route operated by Thames Travel, using the newly-opened bus gate at Great Western Park South
Route S8 (Oxford-Wantage, Stagecoach) will no longer operate (see route X1)
Route X1 (Wantage-Oxford/Headington) new route operated by Thames Travel, replacing Stagecoach route S8.
Route X36 (Didcot-Wantage, Thames Travel) extended to Southmead in Didcot, and rerouted via Charlton in the Wantage area to replace route 38.
Route X39/X40 (Oxford-Reading) will be operated by Oxford Bus Company instead of Thames Travel, to the same timetable.
Route 500 (Oxford-Oxford Parkway, Oxford Bus Company) will no longer operate (see route 7).
Thames Travel routes X32 (Wantage-Oxford/John Radcliffe Hospital), 33 (Abingdon-Wallingford) and 98/99A/99C (Didcot Town services) will also have revised timetables to co-ordinate with other routes.

Just a thought, but why is Swindon regarded by Go Ahead as being South Coast? It's miles inland, surely Swindon should be part of the Oxford group? The title Upper Thames Travel would cover Swindon,Oxford and adjacent areas but the two city names should be prominent. Notice I'm NOT suggesting Thames down!

Because it is managed as part of Go South Coast which was the opco that completed the purchase from the local authority. As an aside, there are Bus links between Swindon and the rest of the GAC empire but nothing to Oxford. First’s operations in Slough are managed from Southampton and Arriva in High Wycombe is part of Arriva Midlands. Going way back, when the BTC acquired Red & White it places Venture, the Basingstoke operation, under Wilts & Dorset control.
