<snip> Carousel Buses has placed a new ADL E20D MMC into service on route 581, whilst Redline-operated route 583 will no longer operate into Uxbridge after the end of February. <snip> From Monday 1st March Carousel Buses route 581 will operate to a revised timetable on Mondays to Saturdays, between Uxbridge and Denham only - the section to Beaconsfield will be withdrawn. Saturday-only route 582 (Denham-Windsor) will be withdrawn. From the same date Carousel will operate a partial replacement for the 583 on Mondays to Fridays, with one return journey from Richings Park into Uxbridge (09.00 out/12.15 return) and one return journey from Iver Heath into Uxbridge (10.31 out/14.45 return). Redline will continue to operate between Langley and Hedgerley as route 83. The vehicle currently used on the 581 is a black ADL Enviro200 MMC YX70 OLO which was ordered for Bicester Village shuttle services but has been diverted temporarily to Carousel to meet the new ULEZ requirements from 1st March. It is understood that a Mercedes minibus is on order. www.carouselbuses.co.uk/news/service-changes-581-582-583/

The London-wide ULEZ arrangements are also impacting on non-TfL services that will enter the new ULEZ from 1st March. Arriva has done a three way swap as the Mercedes Citaros used on the 724 are not EuroVI-standard; they have gone to Guildford, displacing 7 Optare Versas to Maidstone. In turn, 7 ADL E20D MMCs are moving from Maidstone to Harlow to operate the 724. Carousel Buses has placed a new ADL E20D MMC into service on route 581, whilst Redline-operated route 583 will no longer operate into Uxbridge after the end of February. First Berkshire is collecting Volvo B7RLEs from Southampton and its Citaros are moving on to Worcester. All vehicles based at Slough will be EuroVI- standard by 1st March so that there is no chance of a non-compliant vehicle being used in error on a Heathrow or Uxbridge service. Reading Buses and Courtney Buses are not affected as all their vehicles already meet EuroVI emissions standards. There may also be some impact on Kingston area operators, although most already seem to have EuroVI-standard vehicles in service. Some more vehicle movements for non-TfL routes: - Arriva Southern Counties is moving ADL Endiro200 MMCs from Gillingham to Northfleet for route 477 into Orpington - Stagecoach South is moving ADL Enviro200s into Guildford to replace Enviro300s on the 715 into Kingston.

I haven’t been in Kingston since August, but at the time Stagecoach were using older buses on 715 from Guildford (e200s Mon-Sat, with solos on Sunday when they go via Thames Ditton). Possibly been upgraded or changed since. Falcon generally used fairly new diesel buses which would be euroVI There are a number of school workings operated by Edward Thomas, they are mainly coaches, and although they have some new vehicles, most are much older than euroVI. Again no idea if they have had upgrades. 715 still uses Enviro's (not sure about Sunday though), Falcon mostly use Euro 6 E200MMC's, not sure about Edward Thomas though. Stagecoach South is transferring ADL Enviro200 MMCs into Guildford for the 715.
