So far every bus I have used into Kingston which once terminated in Cromwell Road bus station still says that it does so. Some stop farther down the road but most terminate one or two stops short and turf everyone off.

Just been on an 85 from Kingston that iBus said was terminating at Roehampton Medfield Road. The address doesn't even exist. It's Medfield Street.

119 Ee-class today displaying the destination "Purley Way Colonnades" but with iBus inside calling it "Croydon Airport Colonnades". Consistency? Not so much.

It is, perhaps the Bricklayers glitch was a result of them trying to update the announcement.

It was also, like the other routes, using the Bricklayers Arms audio.

The 229 has switched back from Sidcup, Queen Mary’s Hospital to just Queen Mary’s Hospital. Pointless change.

119 Ee-class today displaying the destination "Purley Way Colonnades" but with iBus inside calling it "Croydon Airport Colonnades". Consistency? Not so much. That has been the case for a long time. The location always was "Croydon Airport" and only changed to "The Colonnades" when the shopping centre opened. Many people still know the area as Croydon Airport and very few if any would have been there when it was an operational airport. I am not a fan of any of these rather vague "place names" which rely on road names. "Purley Way" is quite long and there is a slight chance of someone mistakenly expecting the bus to go to Purley. The same applies to the likes of "Old Kent Road - Tesco". That is considered to be at Elephant & Castle by both the Post Office and the supermarket chain. Whilst it isn't actually at the main E&C location the destination "Elephant & Castle - Tesco" would be more specific and doesn't clash with the generic "E&C" used by most other buses terminating at the larger location.

Living on the 415, no one I know refers to the Tesco as Elephant even if the Post Office & Supermarket do (it should be noted that the Argos opposite the Tesco is called Argos Old Kent Road) and having a blind saying Elephant & Castle, Tesco is extremely misleading and contradicts the previous example you gave for Purley Way. Now if the blind didn’t include the Tesco qualifier, I’d agree with you but that qualifier is what helps set it apart from Bricklayers Arms which is the only other turn on the Old Kent Road As for Purley Way, Collanades, this is personally the best blind (you could make an argument for Waddon being used as it’s literally just down the road). The Collanades qualifier helps distinguish it from Fiveways & Waddon Marsh which are other nearby turning points. The old blind was Croydon Collanades which was completely inaccurate.

There is nothing wrong with Old Kent Rd Tesco. The Tesco is massive and is a major interchange, locals can learn and understand where the 415 is going to terminate with no issue, plus Old Kent Road is fairly relevant being extensive with tons of residents and high bus usage.
