Noticed today TfL also seem to be going after the countdown displays now. The EL1s display on the countdown boards are now Ilford Broadway instead of Ilford Station.
There's now a silly situation where the blinds on that route say "Ilford Station", the iBus display inside says "Ilford Hill" while the countdown displays say "Ilford Broadway". You couldn't make it up by this point.

I hate the 119 change to Croydon Collonades, Croydon Airport. It sounds rubbish. Purley Way, Collonades was much better than that. Personally I’d go back to that. You can’t really call it Croydon when you’ve already left Croydon Town Centre, South Croydon and Waddon.

The 161 has changed its destination from "Chislehurst" back to "Chislehurst War Memorial" after almost four years! (I prefer the Chislehurst WM destination as it's less confusing because the 61 also apparently terminates at Chislehurst, albeit at the Gordon Arms) I’m all for this one, as it’s more informative. Some consistency would be nice though, by changing the 61 to Chislehurst, Gordon Arms and the R7 to Chislehurst, Sainsbury’s or Chislehurst, High Street. |
