Yeah it's fair too say LTs aren't my favourite types of buses in London but the 490 needs double deckers desperately so I would be happy if that was too happen.

Proper conductors on the LTs so that any door boarding is maintained with reduction to fare evasion. On top of that concentrate the LTs more on the central London routes, which means conversion back to regular deckers on routes like the 267 and 415, moving them to for example the 52 and 139.

I see more out of central London routes getting LTs with central london concentrating on electrics in the future.

Any route which gets a lot of fare evasion isn't fit for LTs. I think the 149 should use HVs when there's an LT shortage at AR as you're more likely to get fare dodging on the 149 than the 19. I think we'll see LTs moved out of Central London in favour of electrics though as george says.
