I think it's been said before that the HA aren't blinded for 254 also coneventionals on Arriva LT routes are very rare apart from the 149,no other Arriva London North garage has had a conventional on their LT routes and 137 in the South has only got a few. Same can be said about Abellio.

a HA on the 254! E400 MMC on the 24/27! I am pretty certain Abellio aren't reblinding their buses for the 24/27 which is unfortunate. I was also told that the 270s Smart Hybrids came with QB blindsets (although it's now based at BC) and if any buses were to have the 24/27 on them, these would have been your best bet. But news flash, they didn't have the 24 or 27 despite coming with QB blindsets. It's unfortunate that the 24 has barely seen, if not a single conventional since it converted to LTs in 2013

It's unfortunate that the 24 has barely seen, if not a single conventional since it converted to LTs in 2013 Abellio rarely use conventionals on the LT routes they have had for a few years - the appearances on the 3 & 159 have been in certain circumstances (trial on the 159 and last resort on the 3) and really only the 415 has seen a higher than usual amount of appearances. Like you say, I don't expect to see any of the 24 or 27 seeing loads of appearances outside of a rare last resort occasion.

Knew Abellio wouldn't put conventionals on the route so as an enthusiast was disappointed RATP they lost it but of course for Abellio it was great for Abellio as it replaced the 211.
