As pointed out in the blind banditry page I did see that the 433 buses are showing East Croydon rather than Croydon, Town Centre

Also saw one 405 displayed South Croydon whilst waiting for a 403 at Fairfield Halls

With the first stop being at the Flyover it may aswell terminate at South Croydon.

With the first stop being at the Flyover it may as well terminate at South Croydon. Of course, had the silly pedestrian scheme not gone ahead on High Street, the first stop would be on Park Street as apposed to the mess the area has now.

I go via Croydon (interchange from 450 or 468 to Wimbledon tram at East Croydon) a few times and I find it a mess at this point. Can there not be 1 central bus station where ALL routes terminate unless they are passing? So many stops and stands now its confusing

Is the Katherine St Stand now a boarding point ... Not been into Croydon to check yet, but listed on lvf?

I don't think it is. First pick up on the 405 and 412 is Flyover. 197 is both sides of the road of the Fairfield Halls and the 50 picks up at Fairfield Halls then along Wellesley Road.

According to the tfl spider map the 405 picks up on Katharine Street but not the 412. 197 doesn't serve both sides towards Peckham, just the shared stop with the 119 etc. 50 does what the 75 does so serves both sides of the road at Fairfield Halls

Does this mean less usage of MMCs on 433, previously a daily occurrence, now that it has a new route blind as Croydon town centre is not on the 433 blinds? Don’t think the 64regs are blinded for Croydon town centre either?

According to the 407's tender spec for it's last contract, one of it's turns was at Katherine Street and was required to show Croydon Town Centre so unless the remaining 64 reg 201 examples & sole 130 vehicle have lost that blind since, they should have no issue displaying it.

I’ve seen the 130 blinds end to end and I didn’t notice any blinds showing Croydon town centre which is odd as it should be be there as a 407 turn. If perhaps it isn’t on the blinds, then 433 drivers may have to show East Croydon on the blinds

Had the 54 still gone to Croydon, it would probably now be perching on the edge at the Fairfield Halls 🤣

It is a mess with all the stops and stands. I've been to Croydon many time syet its still a disorganised mess and some better cohesiveness between routes is needed for me, at least having bus routes crossing the town centre minimised difficulty of interchange, but now its increasingly harder to reach routes like the 119 when coming from north of Croydon. Its a joke!
