With thanks to Twitter, confirmed EN33 destroyed, three out of MEC 53, 54, 56, 60, 62 gone too, one WVL, E60 probably beyond redemption. All the photos I can find on twitter are those of the SEN and E60 burnt and an E on fire,

The 51 is not being taken over this Saturday anyway? No of course not, I don't know what I was thinking? None the less it's only a few weeks away and maybe Stagecoach could continue running it on a temporary basis? Shocking news this. Good to hear no one was injured. Been told Go Ahead have plenty spares around the company to allow the 51 to begin.

Do we think they will replace the mec’s? Most probably, especially if more are ordered for the 227. If the 293’s Scania’s are still around (they’re still taxed) they can act as temporary replacements

I reckon it'll be some old buses to start with.

The Scanias are in the other corner of the yard so they may retax/service them to cover the ones lost. Thats if Ensignbus havent already collected them.

I wouldn’t surprised by the end of the day whatever is parked up for the 51 is out in Service. I can see the 126 & R9 taking some overspill of double deckers allowing Single Deckers to be used on other routes.
