Best routes:
419 - Love the route it takes between Lonsdale Road and Richmond. Liked it even more when it ran to Hammersmith. 465 - Nice rural route with good scenery. I also seem to be very lucky with it - always comes before a 71. 190 - Love the MCV Evolutions. My favourite bus. C11 - Love the windy route it takes. Also like the unique link to Gospel Oak. 485 - Really like getting it to Wandsworth Park or the Wetlands Centre. 11 - Always loved getting it really early on a Saturday morning from Fulham to St Pauls. Little traffic. 490 - Just like the Richmond - Heathrow link. 102 - Love it's unique links and getting it to Brent Cross from Palmers Green. H37 - Like it's route and the Tempos/Citaros/DXEs. Also like the Asda link. 22 - Really like the Putney Common terminus. H32 - Like it's route from Hounslow to Southall.
Worst routes:
345 - Too indirect. I once made the mistake of using it between Clapham Junction and Camberwell when the Overground was down and I was in a hurry. Big mistake. 266 - Lots of traffic. Quite indirect. 112 - Always packed. Too much traffic. What's not to hate?

The 112 is not a bad route outside of the peaks and is far far better than routes going to the west (same with the 232) and I'd say the C11 is worse than the 112 experience wise.

I don’t appear to have replied to this, soooo
Five nice routes (all largely because of scenery/sights and suchlike) - 11, 65, 111, 246, 465.
Five nasty routes (mainly lack of scenery and/or problems with ‘interesting’ passengers) - 18, 29, 109, 149, 250.

Whenever I use the 109 for some reason there always ends up being an argument onboard, is this normal?
The 29 is just a packed route, back when the 25 & 149 were bendybus routes there were rough sleepers quite a lot.

Yes, the 109 has always been like that, the 250 is pretty similar as well

Yes, the 109 has always been like that, the 250 is pretty similar as well It’s not often I travel north from Croydon by bus, but if I do, my preference has always been the 68/468 corridor than anything via Streatham/Brixton if at all possible.

Best worst routes in my opinion based on what I experienced :
Best Routes :
. W7 : Good quick connecting interchange route, one of the best performing routes in London. . 329 : Quick connections along Green Lanes, one of the best performing routes within Enfield/Harringay . 43 : Very unique to me, the only bus route within the Borough of Barnet that links to the City of London and links up nice areas such as Muswell Hill and Highgate. . 84 : Not a London route, but technically it is. Very lovely countryside route it takes from Hertfordshire and good thrashes on it. . 13 : Nice route it takes linking nice suburbs of Golders Green and Finchley aswell nice areas of Central London such as Park Lane. . 3 : Nice route in general in my opinion linking up nice suburbs of South London and Central London.
Worst Routes :
. 192 : The route suffers from capacity issues and seriously needs capacity support. . 279 : A very dangerous route in my opinion, linking one of the most deprived areas in London with lods of crime reported on the bus route. . 191 : Serious reliable issues within the route. . 29/N29 : Dangerous route in my opinion with many incidents reported on the bus route. The night service is worse with Wood Green, Camden and Central London on hot level during night.

I have to disagree with you on the H32 because I just don't think there's anything interesting to see on that route. 228 is also really bad in terms of scenery and is indirect Really agree with you on the 419 and 22, but I think the best routes are the ones nearer the suburbs such as the 371.

Yeah, the 109 feels like a slog, only time I take it is if I'n going out very early in the morning somewhere as the A23 is clearer at that time than later on in the morning when everyone decides they need to use it Under Abellio, managed to do it near enough end to end in about 35 minutes around 7am once and

Never again!

I like routes when they simply do drive end to end as quick as they can.

I like routes when they simply do drive end to end as quick as they can. You'd like the 406 and 418 then. Even at their busiest, a good proportion of the passengers traverse the whole/ near enough the whole route. I managed 25 or so mins from Kingston to Epsom late at night on a 406 at the end of 2019, made even better by it being in one of the Voith E400s. That coincidentally was the last time I had one of them - an excellent last journey.
