Same with National Express services to London. I think they put it as that because it ends at Victoria Coach Station which is the main terminus for them but yes they should be more specific. Look at it the other way round, you at VCS, do you want to know a coach is going to Bristol or Liverpool, or where abouts in those cities. I think if you are planning a coach trip, you will have researched where it will drop you off. National Express do show various stops in a city where it can stop e.g, Marble Arch, Golders Green and Finchley Road in London but the main terminus is at VCS.

"London" - 702 Nothing more vague than that. Same with National Express services to London. I think they put it as that because it ends at Victoria Coach Station which is the main terminus for them but yes they should be more specific. I don't really class Victoria as the part of Central London I would want to go to if I was a tourist. I think that they should say 'London Victoria', like the station.

If you live in South London, it is very much Central London as that is where your trains to Central London go. Think just city name is more than adequate for inter-city travel and has been for a great number of years.

The thing is though the paper and E-tickets all specifically mention London Victoria as the destination and any passenger getting on is likely to know this if they’ve pre-booked. If they don’t know then they are just foolish.

Living in Woolwich for seven years of my life (2011-2018), I was bombarded with blinds that constantly said 'Woolwich'. The same goes for the iBus announcements: "386 to Woolwich", "178 to Woolwich" (which I still hear on a regular basis), "96 to Woolwich", "99 to Woolwich" (which I have only been on twice in my life), "301 to Woolwich" (which I have only been on once in my life) and I think that's all of them.

Erith (why not Erith Shopping Centre, Erith Station and, in the future, Erith Quarry?), shown on the 428, B12 and 469 to name but a few.

I can’t think of the route but a single decker that terminates at “ St Raphaels” 232?
I’ve lived in London all my life and I’ve never heard of this place let alone know where it is!!

Another one for me, not so much vague but baffling is the fact the 172 and P12 bother start and end at the same stop. One calls it brockley raise and the other Honor oak park !

182 to Harrow Weald Oxhey Lane - not really in Harrow Weald, that's more Hatch End to me 288 to Broadfields Estate - someone not familiar with the area wouldn't know it was in Edgware All the ones to Richmond Manor Circus - really more North Sheen than Richmond 485 to Castlenau - when it doesn't display Lonsdale Road 220/28 to Wandsworth - because they don't terminate where the 485/87 terminates. Should be Wandsworth, Southside Shopping Centre 427 to Coney Green - no one would know where that is if the 427 got curtailed there

This has definitely changed over time: the 54, 75 etc had WOOLWICH Hare Street blinds in the early 1980s, and the 177, N82 etc would show WOOLWICH ARSENAL STATION. The 301 terminus would have been WOOLWICH FERRY back in the day.

Also, yeah, best to group them into Woolwich Arsenal and Woolwich High Street.

Barnet, Arkley Hotel. Should be referred to as Barnet, Galley Lane.
No Arkley Hotel AFAIK so imo should be updated.

Windmill Park is rather vague too, should be something like Southall, Windmill Park, or even Southall Iron Bridge, Windmill Park

Windmill Park is rather vague too, should be something like Southall, Windmill Park, or even Southall Iron Bridge, Windmill Park The problem with that is that the 483 doesn’t serve Southall itself so putting it on the blinds would confuse passengers expecting the bus to actually go to Southall
