There wouldn't have been a YX68ULX. Registrations with the same letter at the end of both letter sequences are withheld for potential sale as cherished plates. That said I think a few may have slipped through the net, especially in the 51-reg period when they were still getting used to the new system. Oh - I didn't know that - thanks!

Also the Arriva HTs - some voided 20 plates and some of those had their registration plates swapped around after that:

Stagecoach London 14129 missed the deadline to be registered with a 70' plate and now carries a 21' plate: LG21HZP from LF70YVE

Tower Transit's Switch Mobility Metrodecker EVs OE34018-34037 appear not to have been registered by 28th February so may have their 70 registrations voided.
