So recently, ADL have been having a bad time with orders for London. RTPs late buses, MLs wrong size buses and now CTPs late buses too. What do you think? Do you think that operators are more likely to choose other manufacturers because of this?

Brexiteers like Liam Fox have told bus operators to abandon metric for Imperial measurements, which threw ADL when they receieved the bus' ideal weight in CWT (Hundredweight) and Inches and Feet for length, hence the errors in deliveries

Can I get more info on the wrong size buses?
ADL just becoming super mainstream for operators, less hassle for everyone to deal with same brand vehicles, engineers/allocations and so on.

Do you think that operators are more likely to choose other manufacturers because of this? ADL have gained many orders from Wrightbus in top of orders from their usual customers so it’s to be expected to see some buses end up late. This also isn’t a new thing and has happened many different times over the years to many different body builders. We also don’t know who for sure who is at fault in regards to the wrong sized DEM’s but it’s looking like possibly the issue is at Metroline’s end instead.

Have RATP got a batch of 10.9m DLEs on order for route 272? If so, maybe they would accept the ill-fated Metroline examples with seats replaced, grabrails repainted or replaced, and the price reduced a little due to not being brandspanking new?

Unlikely that would ever happen - Metroline will probably make use of them in their own fleet, after all there is many Euro IV DE's in their fleet. Why would you go to all the trouble of ripping out seats, painting handrails to a new bus which all costs money and then reduce the price further.

ADL launches the new Enviro400ER with a ability to go up to three miles in electric mode without the need of any charging infrastructure. Brighton & Hove has currently have a order of 30 Enviro400ER Buses due later this year on route 5.
Would like to see some of those buses in London and if TfL classifies them as electric buses then I'd certainly expecting to be popular in London as well.

I suspect TfL would describe them as hybrids.

They are not electric buses, they are hybrids that have the ability to operate in fully-electric mode for a short distance. They are most definitely not zero-emission. Brighton and Hove will operate them in electric mode through the city centre and on diesel-electric power in the suburbs.
