Too little, too late. I ain't waiting around for a bus in the middle of the night when I can drive or take an Uber... and the Uber will be more comfortable, not full of discarded chicken boxes or old copies of the Metro... They need to look at everywhere else where they have leather seats, WiFi, branding that works. Everything in London is equivalent to a base model Chevrolet Matiz. 243 is supposed to be 24 hour but you wouldn't be able to tell. Everything goes quiet between 2 and 5. 20 zones, roadworks and bad road layouts ruin London for me. Deal with the stabby kids before truing to lure people who are not interested onto the buses This kind of headlines www.mayorwatch.co.uk/transport-for-london-confirms-bus-cuts-will-go-ahead-despite-passenger-opposition/Won't help

In addition, a “new, holistic” approach to road schemes will be adopted, including a requirement that the needs of bus passengers “must” be considered when drawing up new projectsYou should of done this before ruining a number of junctions in London - very easy to say it now when many of the bigger roadwork projects like Vauxhall & Wandsworth have been pushed back due to cost. I feel sorry for anyone who voted for this joke of a mayor - honestly he hasn't a single clue what he is doing at all Cutting routes will certainly not help but nope, that will still continue so anyone expecting this to rescue passenger numbers, think again because people won't ride a route that has been hacked to pieces regardless if it has 2 or 200 bus lanes along the roads it uses.

After Tottenham Hell the one at Archway is also very confusing... I am surprised no cyclists have been hurt on any of these crazy junctions. Still, Sadiq will bleat there's no funding for police though to stop the stabbings, despite most of them getting new Peugeots and BMWs, plus Tasers.... Don't forget, he's The Bus Driver's Son and may still have no idea what running buses is actually like. He may have enough knowledge to realise London General isn't the name of a hospital, but crazy things like "mirrorless" buses which create blindspots with the new cameras and monitors inside the bus (which could mean a collision with a cyclist or motorist), the insistence on some tech, but obvious ignorance of other ways to improve buses (liveries, interior improvements, advertising of services, sensible road speeds) explains how he's missed the bus Allowing Extinction Rebellion to protest (I think it's a blue boat on The Strand this time, near the RCJ), and some other controversial choices despite his religious beliefs (there are pictures of him looking extremely uncomfortable at a Pride rally on social media), plus other wastes of money like the Mayor's Office for Policing and Crime (high salaries, not one actual serving officer from the Met or City Police is on the panel ) Yeah, vjaska the routes chopped to bits like a short tempered mum angrily cutting toast into shapes for a screaming toddler won't lure people onto buses. 67 to Dalston? What's the point? 242 to Aldgate? Yeah thanks mate, I can't get to work in Liverpool Street unless I get off near Hackney Road and jump on a 48... no wait Chopping up routes, introducing new (slightly different) routes (see 301 and 401), whilst leaving gaps in numbering, while older established routes keep unnecessary prefixes (see W3 / P5) messes with my OCD I will be glad when he goes, but will be scared to see who replaces him. Although Sadiq is poster boy for this chaos, it's people further down the food chain causing this chaos, like Gareth Powell. He could tell operators a date to say to one and all "hey, we are all switching to the newer LED blinds now" rather than a handful trialling them, then there's still Dayglo out there, and now we have the Metroline Solo's with original old skool LEDs, like MBK1 does. It's such a mess. Lots of operators no longer care if the blinds get mash up, saw a handful of 2 series DWs on the 221 to "Turnpike Station" as 'Lane' had disappeared into the folds or tear The Mrs said she's seen that Journey Planner seems to tell you the most expensive routes (usually involving the Overground or Tube first before buses and walking) so even other parts of TfL have abandoned the bus Hopper Fare might actually work if the period was, 3 hours rather than one, and the buses were not stuck in traffic and easier to catch... the times I've gotten off one, to see my intended bus speed away from the stop, meaning you hope the bus you're on, overtakes the one you want next, and the driver of the one you want next will let you on... screw that, I'm taking the car

Defo too little too late. Bus lanes and a one way system gone from the 25 will never get passengers back. 20mph roads (particulary on night buses) will do no good for bus passengers either. The bus needs to be as quick and keep up with other traffic as much as it can be against a car journey. I often take a 93 about 2pm rather then later at the school times or rush hour. I might as well not bother as we hang around at stops, travel slowly along Wimbledon Parkside, then keep opening the doors for mroe passengers (despite the next bus being less the 6 mins behind). Makes me keener to take the district line and train to Morden South whereas in reality the off peak journey could easily be 8-10 mins quicker when traffic is much lighter.

Seems like a sick joke, people wont be bothered after they have massacred the bus network. Then when they bring in the speed limited buses on all routes with 20 zones being extended further, people would not bother with buses in this ever so time conscious city. As said above by others Uber is winning. I do not have an Uber account, but have rode in it with the other half who may use it on occasions. This year was the first I went in an Uber. Also from what I know a lot of people in the bus industry are using Uber at times, rather than wait for the bus, which is a shame imo. Many of these so called roundabout or cycle schemes to punish the car have hit the bus worst than any other form of transport.

I used to think it was just me (or my phone) but maybe more structural; happy to stand corrected though Given my curiosity in doing rather unique / out of way routes, I often try and avoid zone 1 so as to have a more “exotic / eccentric” journey back home. For the last couple of months it always shows journey through zone 1 even if I know alternatives exist and even if I give “travelling through....” options. Have tried my phone plus my wife’s plus a few friends but this always seems to happen. Hadn’t given this much thought but maybe this is a way to make money??

Its not just you, the via feature doesn't work for me either. I've tried again and again and it only ever works giving you a direct route from start to finish.

" src="//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/angry.png"> i am surprised how much of the general public still ask for bus maps at stations etc. The same also goes for the amount that do not want to use the Underground and would rather go via bus across London.
