If you could give bus routes “line names” like the tube.....

You can even merge routes into one “line” for instance the 208/261 can be made into one route and named the “Bromisham” Line (poor example)

For me I would call the 53/177/180 routes the “Selkent Line” these are the most prolific Selkent routes them being long trunk routes, even though the 180 hasn’t been a Stagecoach Selkent route for twenty years now, it will always be a Selkent route to me.

The 108 I’d call the Blackwall line, while the 207/427/607 would be called the Uxbridge line

If the X53 ever returned it should be called the Selkent Flier

The 61 could be the Chisley line (strapline, 'Chisel yourself onto a 61')

I’ve reserved the Selkent name for routes 53, 177 & 180 (the 180 is also a GAL route but it’ll be Selkent to me 😉) since they’re probably the most well known and prolific Selkent routes, all serve Woolwich and Plumstead and are lengthy trunk routes across South East London.
