you learn something new everyday, I've never seen a Brentford short trip on the 237 before. Could be because of the rugby at Twickenham? The trips run during ramp up and wind down of service, plus at various times of day as the PVR changes. They run every day. These trips are scheduled, but not specified. The buses would otherwise be running dead to and from AH which wouldn't save much time at all.

The 262/473 dead runs are sneaky, because back in the Stagecoach days they sometimes wouldn't sign into iBus immediately upon their return to Stratford bus station. So you'd only know a bus was coming once it had pretty much already left the stand and was on its way around the loop towards the bus stop. Of course, if you know the timetable you'd not worry. But I used it once every few months on the weekends and would ultimately hop on to any bus that came. Then change at Barnby Street, where the 69 and 241 would join the 262 and 473. This happens on a lot of routes which impacts on the reliability of Countdown at times when buses are starting from garages.

279 has a number of scheduled journeys from Waltham X to Enfield Bus garage and vice versa . These ceased when the N279 moved to EC in April.

140 has an AM and PM journey from Yeading to Harrow Weald 183 has a PM school journey that starts off the line of route from JFS to Golders Green Half of the N98 has short journeys to and from Willesden The 642 in the morning has a journey that starts at Colindale station instead of West Hendon, a journey that skips Edgware station and an Edgware station to London Academy short The 605 has a Edgware to Mill Hill journey and a Burnt Oak to Totteridge & Whetstone journey in both directions
Edit: forgot to add the 399 where the first journey of the day starts at Cockfosters Road and the last journey finishes at Hadley Wood station due to the crosslink with the 299

Yep, agreed! It’s just something you wouldn’t expect usually at any other time of the day for the 262/473

It's possible that extras on routes with size restrictions may only duplicate part of the route. Given the number of routes with extras there could be some interesting sights from next week.

Note the extra buses are also on size restricted routes, eg K1, K4, K5 (not sure where these are coming from unless the borrowed buses are getting an extension) A complete joke that the 31/168 are not listed on here, the 31 I boarded today already has the normal loads and about 40 people boarding all at Camden Town. We missed every single stop until Finchley Road, because we hit the max. Furthemore, the 168 is coming in pairs of 2, at Camden both buses hit their max and their was delays at the stop because of people trying to barge in.
