One of my favorites is the Twickenham-Teddington first day of trolleybus Starts with a U turn in Twickenham about here Passes the entrance to what is now Abellio Twickenham garage at 5:05 Basically follows what is now 281 bus route (although it uses the narrow Stanley Road instead of South Street) Link to You Tube film

I'd like one on the 53. It would've been nice if the BBC had made a documentary along the 53 about forty years ago so you could've seen how Elephant and Woolwich have changed The one continuing thing would be the rat infested Elephant & Castle shopping centre - the many owners of the building including the current occupiers who happen to be the same people redeveloping Elephant turning it into Yuppie & Castle should be ashamed of themselves for letting it become such a mess. If anyone wants to know what a 50's/60's shopping centre looked like, go inside because it's like time has stood still. Is there still a market at Elephant & Castle? Back in the day I used to buy my VCD's (cheap version of DVD's) and watch Nollywood (Nigerian) movies I haven't been around there since the disastrous re-model of the roads, aside from driving down towards Old Kent Rd a few months ago. Everything is getting Gentrified - even Brentford Are they keeping the Elephant shopping centre or will it go at some point?

I used to make my own back before I had a half decent computer. I think they're even still popular in east Asia.

I believe the plan to redevelop the shopping centre was so controversial it was scrapped but I could be wrong on that

some very interesting choices of what routes people would choose. I think I would still choose a central London route.
