Just a bit of fun. To get the ball rolling, I estimate my rankings to be:
1. Metroline 2. Go-Ahead 3. Arriva 4. Abellio 5. Stagecoach 6. Uno 7. RATP 8. Tower Transit 9. CT Plus 10. Sullivan

For me: 1. RATP 2. Abellio 3. Stagecoach 4. Go-Ahead 5. Metroline 6. Arriva 7. HCT (still getting used to the new name) 8. Tower Transit
I've left Uno and Sullivan off simply because I don't have enough experience other their routes to make a judgement.

1. Metroline 2. Arriva London North 3. Abellio 4. RAPT 5. Tower Transit 6. Arriva London South 7. Go-Ahead 8. East London 9. CT Plus (who knew that HCT was originally Hackney Community Transport and most likely the only operator that is a registered charity) 10 Sullivan

Tower Transit I've left Uno and Sullivan off simply because I don't have enough experience other their routes to make a judgement. I have never done either of these. I am measuring Uno on their geography and rides in Northampton. Sullivan I have simply not felt inspired by, but have nothing more to add.

1. Go Ahead; Loved their NVs, PDLs, 06 reg Es and WDL1, also the firm that trained me up then being pre-Go Ahead owned London General
2. Arriva; love their euro3 DB250s and euro4/5 DB300s. They also had the Cummin engine Metros at BN, then AK then TC a number of years before Arriva was formed. Had heavily considered joining this firm when I was thinking of returning to the buses
3. Abellio; For putting nearly everything on the 152, never quite knowing what you're going to board each time...from a short wheelbase ALX200 to a long wheelbase B7TL. Also love their Connex-bought Tridents, specifically those ordered for route 3/N3 and 196. Also heavily had considered joining this firm when thinking of returning to the buses
4. Stagecoach; love their VNs, Tridents and euro4 E400s. Would have considered joining this firm if they had depots closer to Mitcham
5. London United; For their VAs¹, Voith box TLAs and experimental Caterpillar engine on TA346
6. Metroline; Though I've not really travelled much on their buses I do love their variation of vehicle orders and boxes, very much like Go Ahead in that respect
7. Tower Transit; Bearing in mind a lot of their vehicles are ex-Firstbus i loved that they're the only London operator besides Arriva to have ordered more than one DB300, even if still only a handful
8. Quality Line; For their Voith E400s, making me wish at the time that they had at least one double deck route through the Mitcham area
9. ?
10. ?
¹ - my favourite incarnation of the 57

Just personal taste, or credibility of ops or rolling stock for example

I admit I struggled a little with my middle ranked companies.

I was thinking the same - after all, no London operator is better than another even if certain individuals like to think so.

I was thinking the same - after all, no London operator is better than another even if certain individuals like to think so. I actually don't have a problem with any operator I put Stagecoach and Tower Transit last not because I think they are bad but because I don't use their routes often.
