Should have said selected services, doesn’t appear to be anything to Richmond, Watford, Euston, Barking etc If I was being cynical would point out Waterloo-City is closed, as is Northern line south of Euston on Boxing Day so a token south London service on Overground ends up with net reduction in trains compared to normal bank holiday.

I am surprised that the North London Line isn't doing the last bit to Stratford only going as far as Hackney Wick. To be honest I can't see the Goblin running on Boxing day I don't think there will be much demand. What they should have done is run the the South London Line to help with the northern line closure

I'm old enough to remember buses and trains on Christmas Day, with Boxing Day being a 'Sunday Service.' Christmas Day services were dropped, the argument being the increase in car ownership. Wasn't Christmas and Boxing day services not running at the behest of the unions?

Yes, very surprised that there is no service to Stratford. Westfield will be very popular on Boxing Day.

Wasn't Christmas and Boxing day services not running at the behest of the unions? Even in silverlink days there was plans to run on Boxing day but drivers refused because of pay I believe that's the reason? I am guessing there was some sort of surveys that was done and don't forget there is hardly any freight running during the Christmas season so that could have been one factor in running on Boxing day

Yes, very surprised that there is no service to Stratford. Westfield will be very popular on Boxing Day. I found out there is engineering work at Stratford that's the reason they are not going to Stratford
