The 232 can not be decked due to it serving the North Circ unless it was rerouted via other roads. I thought it was the section of route in St Raphael's Estate that was the issue.

It’s a few years ago now but the odd decker used to run on the 232, mainly the T/W Reg TA’s. Also Arriva, or leaside travel, ran a double decker bus on the school times. Not sure it’s St Raphs that’s the issue, and as far as i know as an ex driver of the route there were no restrictions that prevented double deckers, but this was 13 years ago mind you. Might have changed.

Although I agree with the parking issue, that’s usually people parking in silly places.

341 for me. Timetable is way to padded and not realistic. Journeys are very very slow and it’s just a very uninteresting route for me.

Might have changed. The 232 started off as a fully DD route, albeit running via Tanfield Avenue instead of Dollis Hill Lane.
If there is a problem with DDs now it can only be trees that have grown since DDs last ran on the route (would have been 2005 before the route moved to NW). Probably nothing that can't be solved with a bit of tree pruning.

Dead thread I know but the 63 must be awful to drive due to traffic between Elephant and Kings

Not a driver, but could imagine from a passengers POV that the 37 would be bad to drive. Long trunk route using main roads that are congested and buses often end up delayed. Nowadays there aren't nearly as many curtailments as there used to be to help the service improve

Since the 06 reg E's, I can't remember a truly run ride I've had on the 37

Nowadays, nearly every trip is uneventful however you do get the occasional 15-20 minute late driver caning it from Herne Hill to Putney Heath and managing to make up time to avoid a Wandsworth curtailment

Feel sorry for anyone who drivers the 205 the traffic on the whole length of the route is crazy Marylebone Road, Euston Road, Pentonville Road are crazy busy most of the day
Old Street Roundabout towards Paddington and the occasional congestion on City Road is also horrible.

Pretty much all of the 219 is prone to traffic. Clapham Jct - Tooting Bec is full of traffic around Wandsworth Common, and the whole section between Colliers Wood and Tooting Bec is pretty much straight but full of congestion

I knew a girl in Richmond, and the last bus ran into SW, the traffic being so light it was a ride to behold. Happy days
