Not a big fan of the name but I hope they run it well. I really hope Stagecoach and Virgin make a return to the uk rail market in the future. Not the only one to say this but South West Trains was far superior than South Western Railway. It's a shame that the last few weeks people where saying good riddance that Stagecoach was losing the contract. Goes to show the grass isn't always greener on the other side.

I agree even though I am not a big fan of stagecoach in general they did seem to run SWT well even though I hardly used them. I will miss virgin even though I have never travelled on thier services. One company I would love to come back would be GNER I really miss them

Never travelled on GNER, going on a 373 would have been cool.

GNER was the last operator I travelled on the East Coast Main Line never been on it since from my few times travelling with them they was good never been delayed

Could have been London west coast trains (LWCT)

Arriva seem to run the Overground well but the only but the only thing I have a problem with them is communication they offten report disruptions late at least 30mons + after the incident has occurred but apart from that they are good

In all the years since franchising privatisation I don't recall ever seeing a farewell as such from a incumbent franchisee farewell to Virgin Trains let's hope Avanti can do the same and better the service youtu.be/vrzv3a65X3w
