It's difficult. If I have to pick a favourite it's the E40 MMC (Picked the Hybrid but generally all variants). Then in no particular order this is followed by the EvoSeti, Omnicity, Gemini 3 B5TL, Gemini 2 B9TL, Streetdeck, E40H City and Optare MetroDecker. The Metrodecker is one I struggle with. My dislike of Optare products is probably no secret on this forum, but I really like the Metrodecker EV however as a bus for engineers and an economic perspective it seems awful for a company to operate with the low range and really slow charging. It has the same range as the electric Enviro 400 though.

I just want to ask but who actually likes Enviro 400 MMCs here?... I absolutely hate them and would much rather travel in a Wright Eclipse Gemini 3 which in my opinion is a faar better looking vehicle and a better choice for companies Me! One of my biggest pet hates with the Gem3 was that they didn’t move on from gasket windows as it makes the whole bus look dated, especially from the inside, imo. Let’s not forget those huge pillars too. So based on looks I much prefer the e400mmc. I still like the Gem3 though, and it definitely has the superior air con/air cooling. My vote has gone for the e400h city though, I love them! I haven’t had a chance yet to ride an electric one.

Sorry, I'm no expert on older buses but I have tried to include all of the ones that I can remember. If a particular bus isn't on the list please list it below. Apologies. I listed it above, still not appeared I can’t edit the poll

E400 MMC... it's a shame Arriva London do not have any, but that may change now Wrightbus has gone (can only see a handful of orders with Bamford who took over what was left)

Scania N280UD / ADL Enviro400 CBG City as operated by Reading Buses and Nottingham City Transport - with a slight preference for the Nottingham interior spec.
But seeing as the poll only asks us about types that operate (or have operated) in London I have voted for the BYD / ADL Enviro400 City EV.

It has the same range as the electric Enviro 400 though. That's what I believe has been part of the problem. The range is rarely going to be tested in real world conditions, and in this case it has been that the range has not been living up to the desired standard that was promised. I'm not calling Optare liars however I imagine the buses do indeed have a 160 mile range should the conditions be right, just that the conditions it was tested in might not have been the conditions that they face on the 134.

That's a problem when you said up polls that can not accomdate everybody's answers Do you want me to make a brand new poll and ask the mods to delete this one with the new one having everyone's favourite bus? If so please quote this and tell me all the bus types

Probably best not to start polls where there are literally hundreds of possible answers
