From 1st of November until 8th November 2021. Oldfield Lane North between Greenford Road and Berkeley Avenue will be shut for resurfacing work. The 92 will be temporarily diverted via Berkeley Avenue and Greenford I.e the new routing. I wonder if this diversion will be permanent.

So the 92 is currently on diversion via Berkeley Avenue and Greenford Road i.e via its planned rerouting I wonder what are the chances of it being permanent.

I replied to your other post but copied again below. ---- Can't see them changing the route until the consultation has ben published. Guess the diversion is on these roads as they are the most suitable.

Maybe they should start changing people for processing them. FOIs are a legal right and help the general public with information that should generally be in the public domain. They are used by journalists on a regular basis to help uncover scandals. For some reason, the most recent example that comes to my mind now is from 2019 and was related to national police cuts. It's quite rude for you to say that the FOI was "wasted" when someone reviewed it and gave it the okay. It also looks wrong for you to berate a fellow member for providing accurate advice.

Sorry but I disagree! Here is the thing enthusiasts are just too impatient and expect information in an instant and just can’t wait. A minor reroute is hardly a pressing matter and nothing in comparison to your other examples that FOI can be used for. If you think this was a good use of TfL’s time and money that’s fine but I stand by my original comment.

There was a on link on the first page about the consultation. The consultation closed last year and it was announced that is was going to happen in Spring 2020 but convid prevented it. All I wanted to know if it was still going to happen from TfL.

The simple fact is someone approved the request, and I'm fairly certain this info wasn't previously available until today. I much rather an enthusiast take a nosedive into reports and consultations, as that's where facts will be found. Way too many now people spouting nonsense extensions when this place was reliable for facts and proper commentary. Long story short COBO said a fact, and I've no idea why you'd slate him for it. Better fact than fiction, and that's where my two cents end.

So I’m a bit confused 😐 London Bus Net says that the 92 is going to be diverted via Berkeley Avenue and Greenford Road I assume that this permanent as it’s not in the diversion section but there are diversion boards for the 92 along that section. Plus there are no bus stops well Berkeley Avenue has markings for bus stops but no flag or shelter and Greenford Road has no bus stops. So what’s going on is a temporary diversion or permanent (well it’s obviously going to end up permanent because that’s what TfL want that’s if they haven’t dropped it) but I wonder if the 92 this time is going to permanent or a temporary change this time) or is it going to be temporary that will lead into permanent and when are bus stops going to be installed if it is permanent.

They don’t mind it but they would rather a bus route ran the length of Greenford Road and went to Ealing, I suppose this was one of my reasons for introducing a 392 between Harrow & Perivale with the 92 now going via Greenford Road fully towards Brent Park and Ealing, with the 392 then taking over the 92 through the new developments with the 392 doing a double runner through Westway Cross and then going down Greenford Road towards the A40 with the 92 going via Oldfield Lane North. You know what I think that 392 routing might be useful.

So according to the TfL website the 92 have been permanently diverted via Berkeley Avenue and Greenford Road even though the stops on Berkeley Avenue and Greenford Road aren’t ready yet 🤷🏿♂️

So the 92 is diverted alright. One 92 didn’t get the memo and didn’t go via Berkeley Avenue. Don’t TfL put yellow hoods on closed bus stops anymore I suppose that they will eventually get to that. The information at the closed stops say that from 18 July until further notice the 92 will be on diversion TfL are treating it like a diversion but why not say permanently because I don’t think that the 92 will be serving those stops again. There are no bus stops have been on Berkeley Avenue or Greenford Road and no temporary Stops either so how are people going to get off and on but I suppose that Berkeley Avenue and Greenford Road will get stops eventually.
