Which bus company operates their bus routes the best? Only one way to find out... There's not really definitive answer to this is there? Everyone will just pick their favourite operator.

But having a favourite operator isn't the same as which company they think operates the best. Even though I don't like Metroline much I put them down as they have improved most routes.

I don't think anyone can say that every route a company operates is run well apart from uno maybe.

Out of curiosity, if you think Metroline improve routes, why do you dislike them? Comes down to the drivers. Metroline West I don’t think improve much services. I had a driver on the 235 who had people standing right at the front next to the doors and then allowing even more people on but however these could be the same drivers from Abellio.

Is that the only reason? If so literally every company has drivers like that - I've witnessed it from Arriva, RATP and Metroline alike. I don't think thats much of a reason to dislike a company, especially if they are improving services like you said yourself...

I think I'm joining @dannyb and YY13VKP in the Mr Grumpy camp, but I don't think that this poll has the options as they should be. Abellio, Arriva London and Stagecoach London are referred to as one company, while Go Ahead London, Metroline, RATP and are split into into their subsidiaries. In order to be fair they should all be referred to as their subsidiaries I.e Stagecoach being split into East London and Selkent etc or they should all be referred to as the overall company. A good example of why this should be is because RR, SI and NP all have their routes predominantly based at RR iBus. Not to mention george has already mentioned people will just end up voting for their favourite operator and we've already had one of those polls

Ultimately, I’m afraid, this is a flawed poll that I can’t answer fairly. I use an awful lot of London Central/General, Arriva, Stagecoach and London United buses, for example, but I don’t use Metroline, Uno, London Sovereign, HCT and others a great deal at all. As such, I can’t make any judgment without it being biased.

Think you've totally hit the nail on the head there

Not really a decisive question.
Just look at the operator league tables for performance...?

In terms of actual data, the answer (particularly for high frequency routes) is Arriva London South. Smashing the route performance recently.
