Out of curiosity, why does everyone want the 295 back with TT? Not long ago everyone was saying how well WJ run it and how it has improved since they gained it, Though each to their own I guess.

I think wording is quite key there, I don't remember people saying it's improved under WJ - they were just remarking how WJ manage to do well on it. I imagine the 295 has sentimental value for people while it was at X since it was there since 2000 hence naturally they'd want to see it back there.

Its a wonder WJ can operate that route, they do have my admiration as the 295 is an absoloute nightmare. I think a change to the route is inevitable.

Yeah, I'd have it back at X purely because I used the 295 far more under First when it had TN's then under Metroline

N11 and N97 back to London United That means they will have to win the 11 as well as the 11/N11 are under one contract

I remember the days when the night route contracted seperately from the day route. talked to rif153 about this and we agree would be great if they was tendered separately. For example the N22 could be operated by either Abellio or RATP. Realise this is probably never going to happen.

All I can say is lucky 136 passengers - given that the 136 is run by Stagecoach with the N136 run by Go Ahead

I'd like HCT Group to get the 153 back, for purely sentimental reasons - it was their first-ever TfL contract back in 2001. Whoever ended up with the 212, they can keep it! I was sufficiently disappointed that HCT was losing route 153 with its DAs that I had a farewell ride on it in Nov 2017. I usually concentrate on changes or short-lived operations. (I did however ride GA on route 153 last August Bank Holiday).

These are just purely for selfish reasons as the operators currently operating them are fine: 45 to London Central - I grew up with it always run from Q first with the lovely T’s, then NV’s, the AVL’s and then the PVL’s 57 to London United - miss seeing London United in Streatham 118 to Arriva - remember it running with M’s, would of been interesting to see if it gained a DLA allocation if London General didn’t win it 159 to Arriva - still odd not to see it peeking out of BN though I don’t miss the changeover outside I miss route 118 at BN in particular. AL made some sense but not SW, as it feels too far north. I miss route 96 with previous operators Arriva (DT) and to a lesser extent London Central (BX). Route 237 seems too important a route in Hounslow not to have remained with London United (AV). Route 326 back to Metroline. London Sovereign makes sense in Harrow and to some extent Edgware, but route 326 is almost as silly for them as soon to depart route 139.
