White City-bound 49 and C1 very briefly¹ pass each other in opposite directions at South Kensington Station... the 49 then turning left into Harrison Road whilst the C1 turns right into parallel Old Brompton Road.
¹ - between two very close (and traffic-congesting) sets of traffic lights

In Orpington High Street, the 51, 477, B14, R3 and R6 go the opposite way towards Orpington Station to the 358, R5, R8, R9 and R10 heading to the same destination (going via the Walnuts Centre).

I have said this earlier in the thread. Out of curiosity, is this the longest section of route where two routes meet the longest travelling in opposite directions but ending up in the same place? There are about 6 pairs of bus stops between NPH and Wealdstone where 182 and 186 meet and someone is able to catch a bus to Brent Cross in both directions. Edit: excluding the circular routes of course No I can’t think of any. 296 and 128 opposite directions both towards Romford Station for seven stops between Gants Hill and Ilford Station. |

In Bromley High Street, the N199 heads northbound towards Trafalgar Square, whereas the N3 heads southbound.

The 8 and 205 at Liverpool Street with the 8 going to TCR and the 205 to Bow in one direction and then the 8 to Bow and 205 to Paddington in the other direction
