Personally I'd just wait and see if the District line does get a night tube service, of course if it goes all the way to Upminster and then decide how much more night buses is needed in that part of East London.

Dagenham Heathway already has the 145 on weekends which serves the southern part and the N15 which serves the northern part. I'm sure if the demand was high enough to warrant it then it might be worth introducing. The thing is with night buses you can expect people to walk a bit more, otherwise you'd need to make most routes in London 24h.

I definitely think a night route to Upminster would benefit Tube staff and cleaners at the Cranham depot. I believe you can access the depot from Upminster station so there may be no need to have a possibly rerouted N86 follow the 248 routing up to Cranham. It'd be cost effective to implement that change and have a 24 hour 174 run to Marsh Way for Tesco warehouse workers, who currently fill the bus to seating capacity on the last scheduled journey to Harold Hill on any given night.

If changes could be done in East London, I’d like to see these services gain/change night services. These are only suggestions, and all of these shouldn’t come true, because it would be a mess, so think of these separately
103: Becomes 24hr Weekend
145: Becomes 24hr Daily
173: Becomes 24hr Weekend
247: Becomes 24hr Weekend
287: Becomes 24hr Weekend
368: Becomes 24hr Weekend
370: Becomes 24hr Weekend
N551: Extension to Dagenham New Road or Dagenham ASDA via 173 & 145
N115/N552: New night route between Aldgate and Rainham serving Grays branch of c2c up to Rainham, serving:
Aldgate Station Aldgate East Station Limehouse Station Canning Town Station Plaistow, Barking Road Upton Park, Barking Road East Ham, Newham Town Hall Barking Town Centre Barking Station Barking Bus Garage Upney Station Rippleside Merrielands Retail Park Dagenham, New Road/Ballards Road Rainham, Orchard Village Rainham Interchange (could potientally start at Canning Town or Liverpool Street instead)

My idea is withdraw N86, turn 86 into 24hr, and new N174 Harold Hill to Dagenham Heathway then as 364 to Porters Avenue then as 62 to Barking, giving night service to Becontree and Upney.

Re-route N55 down Broadmead Road and terminate at Woodford Station. To return, it takes Snakes Lane East, Chigwell Road and back up Broadmead Road. More demand down there than at Woodford Wells for sure!
Useful in its own right for Sun-Thu nights. But Fri/Sat night, it acts as an extension for anyone on the Central Line night tube to go towards High Rd W'ford from the Woodford end. Especially the Chigwell Road part, when going one-way from Woodford Station - this allows people to simply walk up to Woodford Bridge from the M11 bridge.
(Final note: if NBFL is frowned upon for this - get the E400Hs on the allocation instead!!! NBFLs terminate at Whipps Cross and return to Central London; E400Hs continue to Woodford)

I would make an N238 instead and make it Stratford - Rainham, via the daytime route 238 to Barking and then the idea to Upney then take it to Ripple Road, Lodge Avenue, Woodward Road, Hedgemans Road, 145 to Dagenham, The Keys and then Route 103 to Rainham. (I sent it through here to send it near it more houses)

I was always hopping for the 240 but as I have been on the 0105 it’s not really in demand plus Mill Hill/ The ridgeway Residents would probably complain. So maybe the 221 as I am sure those living in the new flats in Mill Hill East have a night life plus it links Edgware to North Finchley at night and then onto Turnpike Lane.
N260 should be considered as a potential night service from Golders Green to either White City or slightly extended N142 on Weekends only but not terminating at Brent Cross instead it could terminate at West Hendon Broadway perfect for Hertfordshire Uni Students wanting to go on a rave. 340 on Weekends because of Cannons Park 245? 186? yet again not starting from Brent Cross, Starting from Hendon Centra, Buses would stand in Hendon, Brent Green (aka Water Brook Lane Bus Stand) could be a vital link for Northwick Park Staff N102 (This would still run but between Edmonton, Golders Green and Maybe Swiss Cottage)

E1 to become 24h during the week and extended to Ruislip via the E7 after Greenford. Possibly even go as far as Uxbridge via U1 considering how quiet the roads are during the night. Not sure how the prefixing will work; NE1? N-E1?

The best way would just to be to renumber the day route - but of course this would cause confusion with current passengers. I think that this is a really sensible idea to give Ruislip a night service along the E7's corridor and certainly scope for making the E1 24hr daily as its incredibly well used.

N120: Ruislip Station to Hounslow Bus Station via 114 to Eastcote Lane 282 to Northolt Station why not, lthen as day route 120.. I don't know how busy it would be but Central Line doesn't run West Ruislip branch at night so why not? Southall is always busy so it could work even if only at weekends.
