What a stupid idea pointless and a waste of money unfortunately we may see more like this if they really want to stop pollution they should cut the number of protests that take place on a daily basis

All they want to do is get people out of their cars less lanes less cars i do understand the security concerns as well I get that

But also road space is woefully inadequate for the number of people in London that creates pollution issues ... so what do you do ... everybody needs more space ... Maybe if the coronavirus really kicks in it could solve a bit of the world's issues.

The population of the planet is reaching levels it can no longer support ... If there is no pandemic in next 15-20 years, there will be huge wars over the earth natural resources ... The most basic being food ... and it is no joking matter.

And once this scheme is in place, road space will be woefully inadequate either causing worsening jams or merely pushing the problem elsewhere. As for security concerns, a pedestrianised area will not stop idiots from doing what they please. If this scheme was really about pavement space, then the section outside Westminster Station would be the most overcrowded section to sort.
