Do LTs still do some route 88 journeys? I suppose they could do Clapham Common - Camden Town shorts for example. LT's can go to Parliament Hill Fields, they go round the block to turn around rather than the roundabout. OK. I'm a bit surprised in that case that TfL / GA went to the trouble of swapping buses round and taking LTs off route 88. Mind you, it might save 1 bus off the pvr.

It wouldn't really be practical for every bus to go round the block and there would probably be complaints from residents but the occasional LT on the 88 seems to be ok.

Route 88 certainly stands out for losing LTs in favour of conventional buses.

I think an additional problem is that buses that go round the block can't serve the first stop. They could have switched the 88 to pick up at the C11 stop, but you'd then lose the common stop with the 214.

Plumstead/Abbey Wood borders, so only 2 routes
96: E400s & MMC’s, as well as Scanias 422 is the same, except without the Scanias

Correct me if I'm wrong but I thought LT's went via St Albans Road, Brookfield Park and Swains Lane and served the first stop?

I was assuming that they ran round the loop in the opposite direction to avoid meeting a C11 coming the other way.

Another question: Which type would you remove from your area? LT and OS and OME not keen on those.
