Why did Stagecoach change its logo? Imo the old one looks much better.

Why did Stagecoach change its logo? Imo the old one looks much better. They've decided to have a whole rebrand, akin to 20 years ago when the Stripes livery was retired in favour of the Beachball. At London we at least only get the logos, the red saves us from the disasterous new "Googlecoach" livery, now that is even worse than the logo alone imo

V97-V215-V256-V362-V474-V496-V601 & V664 Withdrawn from tomorrow Makes sense as final year students are pretty much finished in schools and colleges. Fingers crossed we won't need V routes in September.

Allow some more of the Scanias to be withdrawn And a few more of the older Enviro 200's as well. The provincial Solo SR's could return to Bedford in favour of keeping the TfL spec E200's for the remaining single deck extras instead. The 462 extras which previously had two Solos allocated to the extras now and since the return after Easter holidays the 462 extras are now allocated with a 59reg E200 and one Solo instead. With the 362 extras being withdrawn from this week I would imagine the E200 allocated to that could replace the Solo on the 462 and could see them possibly removing other loaned Solos on other routes wherever possible until the school extras fully end.

Regarding the 667 gain, I think Stagecoach will likely find 3 spare E40Ds within the fleet, rather than using the 56's reduction to release a few diesels from T.
The 677 bus will be available, and there's possibly one spare at BK. It's been suggested that one vehicle could come from a crosslink with another route's allocation such as the 62.
Also, route 674 was tendered to use an existing diesel (likely from the old 174 allocation) but instead gained a new electric, so that E40D should still be available.

Fixed 7 year terms are unprecedented, are you sure this is correct? I did read elsewhere that the 5 year contract for the 56 isn't fixed and there's a 2 year extension option but the 7 year one is indeed fixed for the 55, the 432 is also on a similar contract and I believe the 322 is too. These 7 year contracts are to do with electrics and to ensure maximum lifespan is taken out of them, although by the looks of it they're also being used on existing Hybrid bids case dependent to prevent a load of routes coming up at once which could need electrics and over-whelm manufacturers.
