It was fairly inevitable that the Competition and Markets Authority would take an interest, and the watchdog has issued an Initial Enforcement Order that would stop the companies from merging fully whilst it investigates whether the merger could be "harmful". Ironically the IMO also halts the sale of the marketing, retail and customer service functions of Megabus and Scottish Citylink to Comfort Delgro - the overlapping coach networks of National Express and Stagecoach are probably the only area where the CMA could conceivably have concerns! (there is some overlap of the bus networks in and around Coventry but as both operators are already in a partnership agreement with Travel for West Midlands this should not pose a problem). Both operators consider that the sale to Comfort Delgro is a comprehensive solution to any concerns the CMA might have about coach services and Stagecoach has indicated its willingness to engage with the CMA so the sale can be finalised as quickly as possible.

Wait isn't ComfortDelgro's HQ in the UK Cricklewood, hence why the buliding called ComfortDelgro House, meaning that ML could have services in the East before SC had them in the West (unless you count 34 as in the East, which I certainly do not. It is clearly a heavily Western route with a bit in the NE, unless you count Edmonton in the NE.)

The Comfort Delgro involvement is in taking over the marketing, retail and customer service functions of Megabus which Stagecoach will divest. Comfort Delgro's London operations (Metroline) have nothing to do with the merger.

I know that 34 unfortunately has been reclaimed by AL, but some would consider that Metroline used to operate in the East, which is the point of what is said in the brackets

Does anyone know the identity of Enviro 400 that was at Catford that had the original Selkent Ambassador livery for the London Buses centenary in 2014?

No, it has a part hybrid allocation What buses will be used for the hybrid part? It would be 10 Enviro 400 Hybrids from 12324-326/336-338/342-364 batches as the hybrid allocation part of the 180.
