Sundays will be really interesting. No Lizzie Line and reduced frequencies. All eyes on the 177 too….ridership levels are about to soar on that route. As well as dwell times soaring through the roof! I'm always partial to the 177 in the Greenwich area especially on Sundays pre pandemic, and the route was struggling even with assistance from the 180. Mon-Sat will be a struggle when the 180 gets rerouted, but Sundays on the 177 will be catastrophic for reliability and boarding between Woolwich and Greenwich town centre. I give it till July until TfL allocate more resources to the 177. No need to wait till July, barely less than a week! TfL has announced tweaks to the 177 timetable today, only 6 days after the Crossrail SE London changes. This is likely due to increased dwell times on the route since the 180 reroute away from Greenwich & Lewisham.

That's the new schedule coinciding with the new contract starting and dosen't involve any extra resources.

One PD bus is due to receive an Elizabeth Line wrap, which I appreciate is different! 12 345 in the Elizabeth Line wrap would have been fitting given it's fleet number. That one is of course already in the Selkent Ambassador livery though. What we really need is for 12345 to be allocated to WH for route 678. Disclaimer: I rarely remember school day routes so am not sure whether Stagecoach even run route 678. I am not going to look it up because it's a pity to spoil this vision.

Not sure what’s happened to the Smart Hybrids at WH. The fans are running really loud on nearly all of the type! They used to have a unique sound but now sound awful.

Even the E400H MMCs at WH are sounding rather awful recently! Rode on 12404 and I heard a deafening noise from the fan when I got off.

I'd imagine it's simply down to the warmer weather, happens every year when the weather gets warmer, most buses cooling fans start whirring into action.

10107 was used on the 474 for a few hours this evening. I wonder if this bus has been fitted with either a 2020 or 2022 blind set with updated curtailment points for the 241 and 474.

WH Route 667 duties are now crosslinked to the 86. Been like that since the schools have returned after the Easter holidays and when the 678 left, the WH buses on the 86 recently have almost always a one of the newly reblinded Smart Hybrids and only 1 WH bus is running on the 86 at a time instead of 3 buses when the 678 was at WH

I only read it in this months TLB and wasn’t sure if it had been reported here.
