I drove through the Lea Interchange area this afternoon. Having seen several buses at close quarters it is clear that standard Stagecoach won't fit on the ex Tower Transit buses. The Tower Transit logos were always fairly small. I don't know why you specifically had to drive past LI to make this observation, EvoSetis, Gemini 3s and Streetlites are all over London and the dimensions of the buses don't very by operator. I'd imagine the lack of logos isn't anything to do with the size as vinyl companies can provide masses of logos almost overnight in many cases with the technology available. It's probably just Stagecoach taking their time to save money rather than rushing through with something for no obvious business gain. Very unlikely I know but could the buses maybe have Lea Bus Company names much like the old Thameside? Unlikely I know.

I don't think it will happen, the first thing Stagecoach did on their return was standardise all the subsidiaries into one with the standard logo, so it would defeat the initial purpose if one subsidiary has special logos but the other two don't.

I didn't specifically drive through the area to check the logo situation. I was returning home from dropping somebody off at Stansted Airport. I made an observation based on what I saw. Obviously I'm wrong and I know nothing about vehicle graphics (despite spending many years in the industry).

The Tower Transit logos were always fairly small. I'm sure they will fit, Stagecoach logos fit on Streetlites and Geminis elsewhere in the UK. Give them a chance to put logos on, they've literally had the keys to the front door for a month or two, I'm sure there's more important things to sort out than sticking a name on the side of a bus

I have noticed WH trying to avoid putting buses on the 330 that have Silvertown blinds instead of Pontoon Dock! They usually allocate the buses with 2020 blinds on the 241 and 474 and the buses with 2022 sets on the 330.

I spotted WL44700 (39121) in West Ham Lane yesterday afternoon heading back towards Stratford still in full Tower Transit training livery blinded for Finsbury Park! I see elsewhere the bus was in other parts of east London too. I assume LI are still managing their own training at the moment? I assume this will eventually be merged with the main training undertaken by WH?

In the last few months when Tower Transit only had LI they were only recruiting PCV drivers and not offering any trainees to join the company. Whenever I saw one of their training Streetlites it usually driven by one of the existing drivers at TT and not any of the newbies.

Saw loads of Stagecoach trainers in and around Stratford earlier so presuming they've got a big recruitment drive going on?

Their website suggests they're hiring trainees at every garage except for LI so would imagine you're correct.

Stagecoach training buses always seem to in and around in east London in large numbers often out as late as 9.30pm. Noticed a huge differences to be honest.
I did spot a very rare Arriva training buses from N this morning in E16 which is unusual as its usually Stageoach and GAL that dominate.
Edit: Sorry made a typo meant “not” noticed a difference in number of buses!

We sometimes get the odd Stagecoach trainer here in Brixton which is uncommon territory outside of the P4 though the usual suspects are generally Arriva T's & Abellio Enviro 400 trainers

Would've be nice if the ENs stuck around at AL when they were around for a bit.

Huge shortages out there

Huge shortages out there I get that but was odd to see so many trainers in a confined area from one operator when I don’t see that in my own area
