Stagecoach London: 47 x BYD DD/E400EV-City 10.9m for routes 173/174/673 Fleet Numbers 14**** The 173s PVR of 16, plus I'm assuming 4 spares give the 174 around 27 buses. The current PVR is 23 so that doesn't suggest a notable PVR increase for the 174 as expected. On the other hand great stuff to see these ordered, such wonderful buses and it'll be nice to see these in the Stagecoach fleet.

That would still be enough to up the frequency from every 8 to every 7 minutes and possibly some 6-minute headways at the very busiest times.

Fingers crossed that at least some of them (including the charging infrastructure) are ready in time for the 173 takeover. I can imagine that these will be numbered as 14101-14147. Probably follow on from the Manchester BYDs

I would have only thought two spares for the 173’s PVR of 16, all the outer London electric routes (NP + 323) have only got a regular amount of spares so far. So I reckon 18 for the 173/673 and 29 for the 174

Are there any more?

Just seen photos of the new Enviro200 EV's for route 323 on The Londoner Facebook group, one interesting thing to note is that these have high back seating!

Photo credit to Kevin Cooper It seems the dreaded number plate confusion has happened again!! So that bus has reg ‘LF20XKS’ whereas LVF and BLOTW has it as ‘LF20XPS’. Unlike the confusion with the 497’s MMCs last year, it would seem the XKS number plate on the bus is in fact correct as the DVLA has ‘LF20XPS’ as a grey Yamaha vehicle!!! (Same with XPT). Anyway lovely looking vehicles!! Unsurprisingly these seats aren’t found on the 25’s buses lol
