Do Hants and Dorset do all the refurbishments for the 135 vehicles?
I wonder if another company did 13122, which ended up being green and orange, and later changed to another refurbisment group so that the orange goes on both the seat handles and the poles..?

Not Hants and Dorset as don't do any refurbs for Stagecoach buses, the 135 Geminis are being refurbished by a company that is based in the Ipswich area.

It would probably have been someone from Stagecoach on the phone to whoever is refurbishing their vehicles asking them, politely, not to do the green and orange thing again.

does anyone know if 36325 at HK is getting a refurb because it hasn't been out for 20 days and it is 15/16 years old so it would make sense

Surely they can get replacements for them? Pretty sure they’ll go once the W5 converts to electric anyway

About time Stagecoach put the buses that are supposed to be on the 276 contract out.
It's embarrassing that the public have had to put up with the e200's and they were allowed to start the contract with them.
They were knackered when they were on the 488 contract let alone starting a fresh contract with bandit blinds, no blinds or smokey smelly busses.
To be frank I think it's ridiculous tfl let them do it.
If stagecoach can't source buses that are suitable for the route then they should have paid go ahead to carry on running the route or tfl should fine them for every bandit bus they put on the route.
All well and good having nice shiny buses when they're all parked up in LI gathering dust.

But Stagecoach could do no wrong I thought?

Due to the horrific stabbing around Hainault Station earlier half the 247s are curtailed to Hainault, The Lowe. That cannot be true, the forums favourite do not do things like that. They do not do reduced services.

Also saw on the news picture that Stagecoach 19808 was cordoned off as well, presumably it's on the 247 and just passed by the crime scene. There was two 247's stuck in there and one 150 namely being T172

It seems like they were left outside to be battered like the RM's in the carpark at [WH] which have been left to be deteriorated. A few of them with failed blinds, but no the forums favourite NEVER has things like this happening, especially taking on a new route where they are on point and shows the other operators how it is done.

I'd say Go Ahead are the forums favourite and tfls aswell 😉😂 TBF those LX59s are battered but with most routes going Electric this is what will happen for some time not much you can do , not so much a case of buses are there get them out , waiting on charging infrastructure and the like , same situation with 262/473
