The W9 is operating from HK. Honestly where do you get your conspiracies from? Overall your post above is completely irrelevant. In the last 24 Hours in relation to Sullivan Buses has common sense become a thing of the past? Why would the 20 be moved to T 4 weeks ahead of schedule because of the fall of Sullivan Buses honestly… The routes taken over have nothing to do with tendering and is very short notice. Thank you for making that clear, by the way, would you happen to know the temporary allocation for the W9? Anything to provide a service, I guess. LVF has been caught out as nothing is tracking at the moment on any of their routes. All operators standing in have done well to cobble together a fleet plus drivers in literally hours... so everything has come from across London. There's pics of some of the Stagecoach W9 buses on FB same goes for Uno and Arriva.

They haven’t gained the W9 - they’re operating it on a temporary basis. It will still probably be tendered at some point and they may not even operate it from that point onwards I wouldn't be surprised if it is very short term at Stagecoach, since the W9's tender result is currently due (with the 298 from the same tranche already announced). Plus AW will likely be needing the space next month for the W12's PVR increase. So could be that TFL notified whoever the lowest bidder were for the W9, but they weren't able to take on the route at such short notice, and so Stagecoach have been asked to cover until then? Has the 20 gone to T already in order to accommodate the W9 at AW? It would take a bit longer to transfer a route to another garage, rather than quick phone call on a Friday evening to say "the 20 is going to be run from Leyton from tomorrow."

TfL Status states the 549 should resume on Monday.
There is NO SERVICE operating on route 549 due to the operator ceasing bus operations in London. Services are expected to resume on Monday.

Now the W9 is under Stagecoach I believe RATP and Stagecoach meet for the first time around Southgate area. Strange seeing Metroline, RATP, Arriva, Go-Ahead and Stagecoach all in Southgate. 5/6 of the big operators.

I've been told 36665 at Rainham has been de-blinded. If this is the case and it’s due to move onto wherever, the 165 must have an element of DD operation now as 36665 replaced 37530 which has been withdrawn. Without speculating too much it would make sense for the 165 to be the route to donate buses to the 310/W9/549 if they’re already taking from it. I imagine the allocation for the W9 today is purely temporary for today as the buses on it all belong to existing contracts and aren’t spares and will likely be needed by Monday.

Even further as the 148 meets the 53 at Lambeth North and then also the 136 as it goes further to Elephant & Castle. Then you have the 18 and 205 which have a sizeable parallel between Euston and Marylebone. The 94 meets the 55 at Oxford Circus too.
