Because the 123 no longer has the alternating school/non-school journeys.

They ought to keep those school bus extra's, keeping the smelly kids separate is much better, they ought to have there own buses.
Its the kids that spread the virus like wildfire as they are irresponsible.

Back to Arriva : am in bucolic Surrey today - but my very early 229 was bereft of covid capacity labels, removed very cleanly - can still see a rectangle where it was, but overall removed well. Ditto (off topic) the RATP buses I saw this morning in Kingston/Surbiton.

Do you know where ENX5 is based as it is used as v extras on route 444. If route 335 is getting the 63 Reg HV's what will happen to the 11 Reg ones that they currently have.

Would be nice if a couple of the earlier HVs could stay at DT to banish single deck workings on double deck routes once and for all.

Single Decker workings have heavily reduced this month except 1 on the 160 daily usually as DT 133 AM that does 2 trips. If one goes on the 229 must be taken off the route as soon as a double decker is available. Hence why HVs have been straying at lot more of recently.

Yeah : DT have done well with this, it seems. Wonder which garage it will be that leaves huge bits of sticker all over the windows?... 😂😂

For the last few weeks whenever I’ve turned up I’ve seen 3-4 Single deckers parked up at the front unused. Makes a change from seeing them on the 160 or 229.

Or better still they should be walking so fare paying passengers can get on. In fairness though....... I saw a 412 pull up at the stop recently and the kids all stood back to allow an elderly lady on first.

Isn't it TfL that said that all seats could be used on school services? 🤔 Yes, mask wearing may be lower but this depends on the area, some places have virtually full mask compliance
