From what I heard, EC will be relocated to Harbet Road in compensation of the lost site to ongoing planned developments. Funding will come directly from TFL and the Local Council As above, Arriva wants a location for provision to build a garage of around 200 buses. It should be ideally nearby. The council has offered places but no way near capacity so has been rejected. [EC] would only be closed when a new garage has been built, commissioned and fully operational. As for the route proposals that ADH45258 says, they are merely another speculative fantasy proposal. This would be in the same way as what had happened with First Capital [H] and Stagecoach [WA] & [SD] My main concern about this so called Meridian Water nonsense is that it a lot of the land within that area gets flooded easily.The water table may be high, but the incentive to build lots of homes "close to transport links and major roads" is even higher Infrastructure will love even more traffic once there's a Spurs game thrown into the mix with traffic diversions and the 279, 349 and co doing the Lansdowne Road detours but of course they thought all that through

That would surely involve consolidating at least one other garage into it? (AR/SF) No why should it. Pre covid if many of the routes were looking at expansion in the area, this should not have been a problem. [EC] was a 150-180 bus capacity garage. Nothing to do with merging another garage. A standard combined [EC] & [AR] if they were both running deckers would far exceed 200.

Evening all had a trip to Tc today and now have been told that ENLS are staying and the Enxs are just for the 312 extension so it will be mixed my apologies about the wrong info last time I was just going by what I was told but today the guy on the electrics said that the Enxs are just extra for the 312.

EMC11-EMC14 are for the 312 extension....otherwise what was the point of purchasing them?

Considering the 11-reg’s recently got refurbished for the 301 and many of the 62-plates are away, and there’s so many spares been released into the Arriva fleet it would probably make sense to do them as quickly as possible while they’re able to
