What a ridiculous thing to do... Reminds me of the DLA619 Watford joyride a few years ago, some fat kid in a tracksuit waltzed into Watford Junction Station bus stand took the bus on a 50+ joyride down a dual carriageway

What a ridiculous thing to do... I do wonder what goes through people's heads sometimes. Not promoting robbery, but if I was in desperate desire to rob something I'd not go for something which people can easily track using satellite and radio, and is plastered with CCTV cameras throughout.

He must have been really desperate to put up with that awful Volvo i-shift gearbox... I don't know if the ISA (Intelligent Speed Assistance) is automatically on, which would make for a more leisurely episode of Police Interceptors

They're Streetdecks (SW's), not HV's and they are based at Palmers Green. They're allocated to route 340, although for some reason all are out on the 102 today. They had some reliability issues after AD took over the route, so were kept on the 329 which runs right by the garage. You wouldn't want to breakdown miles from the garage on the 340! All sorted now, but drivers may prefer the HVs or T's. They are mostly on the 102 as well. Are Enfield ordering EA's for the 307? EAs would seem likely for the 307, however other electric DDs have been introduced since the 319's order was placed, such as the Streetdeck Electroliner. It's hard to say which manufacturer(s) Arriva are favouring at the moment, as several recent new batches outside of London have been dealer stock, such as the MCV Evoras on the Luton busway, or some of the Streetlites in the Hemel Hempstead area.

Not sure what was going through his head. He stole a pizza delivery moped first then dumped it inside the garage. He then stole the bus that was in the run in. I believe he may have been under the influence of either drugs or alcohol.

There is a driver at Enfield who does short YouTube videos of his bus duties (he did an ENN walkaround when they were first delivered before taking to the road, not sure if he is a member here) and the bus pictured in his latest thumbnail (of a Turnpike Lane bus station) was the announcement of the 307, featuring a picture of an EA (unless it's like when Estate Agents, keen to lure investors from the Far East to obscure parts of London put pictures of LT's in with their proposed apartments as they are the typical personification of London) If Electroliners, (keeping with the mostly Wrightbus theme at Enfield) hopefully they'll be Arriva's first with LED blinds

That and also a stand in Romford that won't be used any scheduled Stagecoach routes by September for an area that would still be dominated by Stagecoach. Who would have thought at the start of this year that Romford would see more LT routes in the day with the 5 & 248 converting than a electric operated route which the 174 still be the only Romford route to use electrics for the time being.
