I was hoping to get an LT on the 466 extras today when I was meeting a friend in Addiscombe but ended up with HV394 from N instead. I didn’t see the HV but I did see two LTs out today. LT973 which I had and an ad wrapped one I think it was LT957

Have a feeling DW547 might be the first. And you are correct my friend Glad you left if a few days as would have said DW547&8 were before DW553 ... then DW548 proved me wrong!

According to a picture posted on The Londoner FB group, ENL102, ENL103 and ENL110 have all been decommissioned. Would explain why ENX1-5 are at TC then! I'm considering a visit to Croydon on October 29th, with Woolwich postponed to next year. I hope to ride an ex-Stagecoach ENL still in service then.

I think you should be OK with the ENLs, cant see what would be due to replace them.

The Summer extras on route 166 start on 9th July and run until the end of August. These are extra journeys on Saturdays and Sundays between Purley and Banstead to cater for extra visitors to the Lavender Fields near Woodmansterne (the Saturday journeys duplicate through Croydon-Epsom journeys and v.v.).
From Purley (Downlands Precinct) at 11.08, 12.10 & 13.10 on Saturdays, and 11.51 and 12.51 on Sundays
From Banstead (Marks & Spencer) at 15.50, 16.48. 17.48 & 18.49 on Saturdays, and 15.30, 16.30 & 17.29 on Sundays

Interestingly TFL still count EMC1 as part of the network on their fleet audit (scroll down to the 0 emissions age and length part). I don't suppose anyone has any knowledge as to its current status? EMC1 was parked near the Crunden Road exit at TC the last time I was there.

With the withdrawal of 78 at the end of 2022, would it be a stretch or not plausible if they were sent down to TH for partial conversion of 250 and 64 or one route, make TH more hybridised instead of withdrawing the vehicles completely?

It would be very unlikely that young hybrids would leave London (the MHV example with GAL was rare) but yes, it would be very plausible that they would convert the 64. By my calculations, if 4 HV's were used on the 133, themselves coming from 243/341 PVR cuts, the remaining HA's could enable the 64 to be retained with a full hybrid allocation.

It is entirely up to each firm what they wish to do with redundant buses. Even if they can be used for another route does not mean the firms will retain them for further use.

Perfect example of that is GAL sending their hybrid EvoSetis to Manchester!

Didn’t Stagecoach also send some hybrid MMCs off lease recently and some slightly E40H, which ended up in Cornwall, off lease as well.

EDIT: Just checked LVF and no Stagecoach MMCs seemed to have yet left London, permanently anyway.
