Is it confirmed which LTs are for the 248? as LTs are owned by LT & not the actual operators which use them themselves, does this mean they can easily be shuffled around between different operators, the way other buses get shuffled about between garages of the same operator? Yes and no. Yes that technically like you said they are TFLs property but not necessarily easy to move as I would imagine there would have to be a log with the DVLA of what operator is responsible for a specific vehicle and therefore it may be easier for them to remain with an operator. This may explain some of the surprising choices for conversion such as the 313 using LTs spare from the 38.

For those who hasn't seen the news on FB, EMC1 is being revived, and will no longer be a parts donor. I'm not sure if anyone noticed, but on this year's fleet audit EMC1 was still counted. EMC7 has also transferred to DT to work route B15 apparently. EMC7 is still at TC, so it was presumably an error in the garage codes. My apologies! EMC2, 7 and 8 are the only refurbished ones at the moment I believe. I wonder if the ex-OCEs will receive a refurb or whether the remoquette they had is deemed enough.

That comment about EMC7 moving to DT was made in jest

I still don't get why DT is not part of London South. They are South of the river, and get lumped in the south management region. Suppose the are far enough away from the London South operations to not be integrated. I suppose DT is much closer to GY/DX than the South London garages, so is easier for loans etc to be grouped with the North operations. It has nothing to do with that. Vehicles can temporarily transfer from any garage at any time. I kept a record of every vehicle whilst I was there that has been on loan and they have been from many locations. BN: HV6, HV8, HV10, HV13, HV17 CT: HV238 DX: DW247, DW331, DW332 E: DW555 EC: DW500 N: T113 TH: T132, T162

As unlikely as it is, I hope that TC doesn't use any HTs on the final nights with the 264. They're fine, but it would be satisfying to see 8 years of DW and T operation end with those same DWs and Ts.

Is AE technally now the outstation for CT? No, they may share various engineering practices, but it is not an outstation. It still has both a garage and engineering manager.

Is it confirmed that the 312 will be getting new electrics, or a top up for its extension to purley?

Is it confirmed that the 312 will be getting new electrics, or a top up for its extension to purley? Someone posted on here a while ago saying that the 407 and the 443 change will happen this December and the rest of the changes will happen in 2024. However we haven't received an official announcement to confirm this

Is it confirmed that the 312 will be getting new electrics, or a top up for its extension to purley? The vehicles for the extension are already at TC
