Is the W3 still getting HAs? are the HAs on the SL2 temporary? The SL2 will use them till 2025 when it will be retendered. The W3 needs it's hybrids now.

Just been on the Go Ahead thread where someone posted a TikTok of a 476 MHV cycling through blinds, one of which is Meridian Water... wondering if this spells the end for Angel Road Superstores on the 341? Shame is MacKenna Bros are the only ones making smart blinds, so there is a lead time for inserts or new sets. Or buy their fabulous LED units? The sooner Angel Road Superstores is gone as a blind name the better. I and many here hated it some years ago as virtually no one called it that. To make matters worse it was more confusing than anything else on the 341 for people to mistake it for the "real" Angel at Islington. Same with the 88. I wonder how many tourists take it thinking it is going to Parliament and you end up in a North London park.

What are the ex 242 HVs doing. Can’t they be used on the W3? W3 is on a hybrid contract now so surely that would make sense, plus can share a common fleet with the 221

I made that mistake with it’s predecessor (C2) when I first got into London buses, I didn’t get on it thinking it went there but I did think surely there’s not much point in a bus route from Victoria to Westminster 😂😂

I’m guessing they may get refurbished first then, if rumours become true, they can go to the W3. Of course it’s not enough with just the 242 HVs so they can continue with the part current Ts until more HVs are freed from the 243 or even the two HVs from BN

It's unlikely they'll extend but the option was there. SL3s tender is already issued and should be announced soon but SL5 hasn't had its tender issued yet.

Of course it’s not enough with just the 242 HVs so they can continue with the part current Ts until more HVs are freed from the 243 or even the two HVs from BN The 6 HVs buses can come from the 158 and they can use Ts along with DWs. I think is best for the Ts to be used on the 41 as its getting new contract early 2025.

I am doubtful especially considering how many hybrids Arriva need for contract renewals.

Certainly hope the SL5 doesn't get an extension, I can't wait to see the back of those awful ENXs. Hopefully some 12m buses are ordered for its new contract.
