From what I've heard we're hoping for a end of April full rollout with the current works taking place outside the garage supposedly being the final piece of the puzzle. That being said its been pushed back so many time's I would take it with a pinch of salt You and your wordplay, mate I hope this ends the impasse with the 307 electrics so the 5 series DWs can move to the 123 and we will start to see electrics on the 279. Is it more Electroliners ordered for the 243 (not seen anything ordered yet but I know its for August), or is it something else (hoping it's not Metrocities) Highly doubt that Metrodeckers would be ordered, I believe arriva is going through the route of standardisation and will continue ordering Wright Electroliners, and potentially BZLs in the future.

Over the past 3 few weeks, I keep seeing 149s severely overcrowded and leaving passengers behind on various sections of the route. Are there plans or changes to address this? 149 is always packed. 2nd on the most usage list. Despite it being packed it is quite an efficient route, helped by the type of bus is uses and the numerous bus lanes. I take it work in the morning and it is always the same. Then it is still demanded in the weekends. Of all the highest frequency routes ( 6min freq) this probably could justify an increase. I have suggested the next SuperLoop route should be in this corridor. It should run from Elephant & Castle to either Waltham Cross, or deviate at Tottenham and seve Tottenham Hale and Meridian Water. Then it will stop at the major stop in between. Many of the passengers stay for long periods on the 149 so to me it is justified. However, Geoff Hobbs hinted that future SuperLoops will be more orbital than radial as 'buses will not be faster than trains' but I think this should be an exemption, and also SL8/SL6 and maybe SL4 shows that there could be value for money here. I dont think there are any plans. I am not sure 149 is on their radar. It may need an MP to get driven passed by a 149 for it to come to TfL's attention. They brought in the 349 in 2004 to assist the 149 between Edmonton and Stamford Hill. There are plenty of options along that stretch of the A10, the 76, 242, 243, 318, 476, also run along sections of the road, plus Overground into Liverpool Street. I doubt broke TfL will make further additions to the PVR. Buses carrying just oxygen in the daytime never looks great. MPs are sitting in their armoured Mercs and BMWs with police detail, you'd rarely see them on a bus (unless its a photo op)

The SL4 hasn’t begun yet and the SL6 & SL8 only survived because they had unique conditions attributing to their corridors they run on and especially in the SL6 case, the niche link it provides so I don’t think the comparisons your making to the 149 potentially utilising a Superloop style route alongside really work. The SL6 especially really has no comparison that exists and as I’ve stated before, it really shouldn’t of been included in the Superloop scheme if it was going to be left unchanged. The 149 follows a railway line pretty much between Liverpool Street & Edmonton Green (SL6 & SL8 don’t), a new Superloop route alongside the 149 would follow the same line pretty much between Liverpool Street & Turkey Street & it doesn’t provide any useful new link (SL6 serves a niche that neither 68 or 468 does, SL8 the same with 207 or 427) outside of a link to Elephant that I doubt would receive much usage and Elephant is already struggling with stand space in any event

LOTS have confirmed that the EMC’s will be returning to the 312. They’re currently having upgraded batteries fitted and indeed EMC6 is currently in service and heading to Old Lodge Lane!

Apparently there will be a short ceremony at TC at midday to relaunch the electrics on the 312. According to their charismatic Spanish Spokeswoman, Pilar Lofo, TfL will be giving away goody bags and cupcakes.

HV49-HV59 apart from HV50 all have not been in service for a few days, most since Friday. I know PVRs are Lowe on the weekend and we have had Good Friday in the mix but seems odd almost the while 466 batch has not been used, are they planned to move anywhere?

Does anyone know why all of a sudden the 13 reg T’s are now appearing to stick to the 194 rather than being seen mostly on the 412?

Does anyone know why all of a sudden the 13 reg T’s are now appearing to stick to the 194 rather than being seen mostly on the 412? I wonder if the DWs perform better on the hills along the 412 and there are certainly a couple of tough hills on the route. I remember some of the DLAs rather struggled on Mitchely Hill.

Since I started noticing the 412 in 2022 I haven’t been able to catch a single T on it and have noticed it almost always being entirely DW with one or two Ts max.

Mitchley Hill is a very steep hill so no shame in anything struggling up there - I’ve had DLA’s & DW’s up there and none struggled anymore than they should have. Only an electric or hybrid will be to tackle it really well
